I LOVE Melissa and Doug things. I got my grandson a puzzle with all kinds of locking things like a chain lock, slide lock, spring latch, etc., new at the thrift store for $1.91. It's sooo cool.

....you're an a$$hat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We took the kids after dinner and waited in line for at least 15 minutes which was fine, I have no problem waiting. But it was our turn for the next parking space, and this d'bag pulled out around all the cars WAITING in line, took the next space, parked and that was that. I thought my head may explode, but with the kids in the car and the festive nature of where we were, we let it go. But who does that?!?!?!?!?!??!? I guess his time was so much more important than everyone elses there who had been waiting patiently. Jackass!!!!!!!

A Dressy Bessy doll, books. I got my 3 yr old grandson flash cards with colors, numbers and the alphabet, I got them at Dollar Tree. Crayons, colored pencils and coloring books. Crayola has larger and triangle shaped crayons for little hands. A tea set so she can learn big girl manners.

Crackled Finish For Craft Project: Products To Use?

Thats how my sister always did it, Elmers Glue. -
I was behind a van yesterday who only had two tiny orange lights 'working' in back. No brake lights or turn signals. When she put on the brakes, both orange lights went off and there was nothing. When she turned on her right signal, the left orange light went out and there was nothing other than the tiny orange light on the right. Needless to say, I stayed far away from her because it was hard to tell when was stopping and then going.

No kiddin'. If 5th grader is sick, he stays home. It makes me crazy when I attend school functions and I hear parents talking about their child not missing a day of school even when they're sick because they want a perfect attendance record. It's like they think it's commendable to send a sick kid who infects everybody else just to say that they were never absent.

Dang, 911 daughter is off today, she seems to miss all the good news stories!!

Yep, us too. After the initial 'purging' was done, we all had a headache and were drained and exhausted.

+100 for this one! My Mom had to be in a 'skilled nursing facility' when she was 50 years old because of years of illness. She was released from the hospital one morning and the only place that could take her was in Roberta, GA near Macon. She was taken there by ambulance, dropped off and the home had NO IDEA that we were 30 minutes behind the ambulance. We past the ambulance as they were headed back north and by the time we arrived, Mama was unpacked, tucked in and had a delicious lunch in front of her. Needless to say, we were beyond pleased and relieved. We never gave warning, just sho

Or 'wolves' would work. Just sayin'. -
No clue if this is true or not, but someone told me once, maybe the same gal who wasn't required to use signals in Cartersville, that if your bike had signals that they had to work, but if you had none at all, it was OK. Is that true?

Yes, all of us 'fakeass people' who peddle correct grammar instead drugs, what losers we are! -
No idea if this is what invaded my house, but 3 kids and 3 adults later, we're better. It seems to only last 24-36 hours, but those are some crappy, no pun intended, hours. Hubby had to come home from work and he hasn't taken a sick day in 2 years. And each of us had a fever for 4-6 hours, really weird illness.

I used to work with a gal who sincerely believed that blinkers weren't mandatory in Cartersville where she lived, therefore she didn't use them was she was there.

I went to work with Hubby a couple of years ago, it was Dec. 23 and REALLY cold outside. Whenever there is a fire, they call the power company to shut off power because it's one less thing the fireman need to deal with. Fire has always scared me, but this gave me a whole new perspective. When we turned down the road, all I could see was blue and red lights and flames. Hubby jumped out of the truck, yelled at me to get a meter cover and a locking band and follow him. We got maybe 50 feet from the house, he made contact with the firemen, told me to stay put and went to pull to meter and seal the

I've said it before, if Arthur Blank wants a new stadium, let HIM write the check for it. The Atlanta taxpayers can't afford the necessities much less being forced top pay for something is NOT NEEDED. It's sickening that the higher ups actually believe that the little guy will buy the load that they are selling.

These are MY VERY FAVORITE cookbooks. Whenever we go to estate sales, I usually come away with one or two and one thing I love is that in the ones from the 50's and 60's, they have really weird recipes for 'bridge parties' and tea parties.

Thats me too.

Wear whatever you want that makes you happy. My daughters wedding band was a silver, 7 band interlocking puzzle ring and she loved it. Some people thought it was weird that she didn't want a honking diamond, but those people didn't know her so their opinion didn't count at all. Do what feels right for you.
