I'm confused by this article. He said that the bullets ripped through the walls and into his daughters car. Was she killed in her car or inside the building? I didn't hear that anyone died outside. Either way it's horrible, I just didn't understand.

Not so much! Well, then I guess it's a good thing they live in Canada.

I realized today that I'm terribly upset because I spent 3 hours wrapping packages yesterday and if the world ends, I could have been doing any number of other more fun things! -
I think this would be interesting...

Absolutely NOT! Forget the parents. The person responsible for killing others with a gun or any other weapon is the person wielding it. It's not just 18, 19, or 20 year olds doing these things. If a 45 year old man shoots someone, is that his parents fault? I don't think so. -
Me too. Chlorine in the gene pool baby.

How is the gun ban working out for them in the UK?

Poppy finished the construction of the second play kitchen made out of entertainment centers this afternoon. We want to get them painted before we unveil the pics from start to finish, but good grief......they are fabulous!! It has been hard to not let my granddaughter see what is going on, so we've been telling her that Poppy is making something for Nan for her sewing room. Weeeeell, tonite as the neighbors were having a fit over them, Park walked up, looked at the finished product and asked again, 'What ya' makin' Poppy'? 'Something for Nanny', he said. And out of the mouths of babes ca

If you ever want to meet up at a range and shoot ours to try them out, we're game. I'm serious, just let me know.

Have you ever fired or looked at a CZ? We have a CZ-P01 9mm and it's my FAVORITE! It fits my hand like a glove, not too big, not too small, it's accurate and the kick isn't bad at all. I love going to the range and shooting at the metal targets and hearing, 'ping, ping, ping' 14 times in a row. I also bought Hubby 2 CZ-P06's 40 cal for Christmas. He had looked and looked at them, found one and wouldn't buy it, so I did. But I also found another one with rosewood grips that I couldn't pass up. I think he's going to be a happy camper on Christmas morning. I prefer the 9mm to the 40 cal, but he

P-E-O-P-L-E kill people, not guns. Guns just happen to be the weapon of choice of so many murderers. We have 2 safes full of guns, hand and long and while in our possession, not one of those weapons has loaded itself, snuck out of the house and shot anyone. With that line of thought, I guess forks and spoons are actually what make people fat and not the food they put on them. The guns, spoons and forks are just the delivery system, not the cause.

Youtube. Hubby found how to make 'sparkle balls' out of clear drinking cups and lights on there. You can find how to do anything. Or try Michaels or Joann. I just went on Youtube and typed in 'how to make hair bows' and tons of videos popped up. Good luck!!

We have had to put a stop to a few things my MIL got herself into, either from clicking on the 'you've won' pop buttons on the internet or through stuff she gets in the mail and falls for.

Scammers like this use FedEx because if you use the USPS, it's mail fraud and that opens a whole different can of worms.

You can sell it privately. You just get a bill of sale with the serial number of the gun, date sold, to whom, etc., have the buyer sign it and KEEP THAT PAPER FOREVER. Hubby has sold several guns this way and insists that the buyer bring a copy of his drivers license and he keeps that too. He has bought guns the same way and has followed the same guidelines when purchasing.

I don't mind if Hubby goes into my purse or wallet and the same goes for him. However, only on rare occasions will we do it. Like you said, there are absolutely no issues, but I feel weird just getting money out, so I leave it to him. He does the same thing. But I never, ever get anything out without telling him and he won't get money out of my wallet, he always brings it to me.

You need to check the gun laws to make sure you can buy a handgun for your nephew as a gift. There is a question on the paperwork when purchasing a handgun that specifically asks if you are buying it for yourself or someone else. It is my understanding that only a spouse can purchase a handgun for their significant other and you can't buy one to give to someone else. You can buy a long gun for whoever you want to, but handguns are different. The sales guy at Adventure Outdoors told me last week that he had a lady buying a gun and didn't want to wait on the background check. She wanted to know

I know what you mean. Last night on the Voice, they sang a very beautiful song and each person was holding a card with a name and a single digit underneath for their age. When all I saw was 5's, 6's, and 7's on those cards, I lost it, as did every member of my family. Hubby even had to leave the room. It's worth looking up on Youtube.

It's amazing to me that people think that they are so smart that they will get away with this, 'Oh, I won't get caught. Not me, no way'. Idiot.

Bullying? SERIOUSLY?!?!? Idiots. And they wouldn't give their names................wonder why?!?!

I agree. It just seems to me that the question should have been acknowledged and the child asking should have been reassured and not told not to speak of it. 5th grader knows it happened, but we didn't let him see any tv coverage, but a lot of parents don't handle things the same way. I'm certain that many children have been exposed to waaaay to much info on the subject and if they ask a question, their concerns shouldn't be swept under the rug, regardless of where they are and what authority figure they ask, especially when they are sitting in the exact same environment where these little kid

Agree with there and people really believe that. It's scary. You're right, maybe there is no right or wrong at this point, everyone is playing it by ear. Because whoever thought it we'd ever have to have this kind of discussion?
