I've read that too and it's hard for me to feel sympathy for anyone with ideas like that.
-
Good for you! And for what it's worth, I am too.

Yep, most gun stores do it for a fee.
-
I have bought several unlocked phones on ebay and have never had a problem, but I've never unlocked one myself.

I say as long as you are helping someone, Jiffy mix cornbread is just fine. I'd eat it and be thankful as most people would, at least I hope they would. Kudos to you!

There is a huge difference between bashing cops and only reporting the bad that you believe that they're doing and having a civil debate.
-
Thank you!

HAHAHAHA!!!

Right to peaceful assembly exercised in Paulding

Where is this event happening? -
I appreciate that, but sometimes you have to take one for the team and if it gets closed because it seems that we're ganging up on someone who writes inflammatory things, then oh well. I do believe that this topic got my point across very well, but I also believe that it will do no good and the reprehensible commenting will go on as it has. It's just not cool.

We are apparently in the same baot, because I understood nothing on the OPs post. -
That makes me crazy!!! When you come on a site like this and admit that you were speeding, drunk driving, etc., and you have the audacity to ask how to beat it. You beat it by owning it and by not doing it in the first place! A$$hats!!!

I think it may! 32 likes on one post???? I'm a celeb in my own head!

It must have, I got a gold star. Crazy, HUH?!?!

But what does 'uncooperative' mean?
-
I would think that if there had been a drive by shooting, it would have been on the news.
-
I keep hearing that the family of this patient is being uncooperative, what does that mean? I did see where she told Anderson Cooper that she hadn't changed the sheets or pillowcases even since she found he had Ebola. WTF? This makes no sense to me. I'd be burning the mattresses, pillows, and whatever else he'd have come into contact with.

If you can't find out on your own, is he really going to tell anyone his sources? What does this have to do with the topic at hand? What difference does it make where he lives? You can't comment on anything that doesn't happen in your own community? Then I guess we should stop talking about Ferguson, Missouri and the middle east.

There is no way that Clark Howard would have reported as he did on this story unless he had the facts at hand and KNEW what he was talking about. His is the most credible voice I have heard to date talking about this subject.

I agree, but unfortunately I have limits and even when you put someone one 'ignore', their threads still show up on the front page of Pcom and I really, really hate it. Luckily, I'm not the only one who seems to have an issue with it.
-
I wish to goodness that someone would attempt to put an end to all the topics that continue to bash cops. It's really old. When the front page has more than one of these articles, it's one too many. Granted cops screw up and some are even criminals and don't know how to do their job. But regardless of the few bad apples, there are too many good ones that get no recognition and some people don't seem to realize that. It's sickening.

So, financially this guy is doing great and you can't find a job? That's not cool when you trust someones word and their idea collapses around them and it leaves you in the dust. Good luck to you!

I'm sorry you miss your friend, losing someone you love is the hardest thing ever. And your friend was the kind of friend that everyone needs, one that will listen, help when needed and even better, call you to the mat if the situation calls for it.
