um, not sure how other countries work, however, I believe in the USA, that it is required to embalm before burial. If a person is embalmed, their blood is gone...so, how do they buried alive:unsure:? No blood = dead. right? I know my dad pre-planned his funeral and they said that if not cremated within xx hours after death, the law required him to be embalmed

3 of my four went there for pre-k, we LOVED it. All 3, actually, are picked up from school and attend ASP there still.

pcshopper replied to methyl1's topic in Paulding County NEWS
I don't recall seeing anything when I came by @ 6:30 ish (at least nothing big, that caught my eye). Let me clarify, I am assuming it is Johnsons Ridge, and that is where I am speaking of. -

Maybe they meant Johnson's Ridge, off Old Cartersville? I haven't heard any sirens around here though? It has a couple different entrances... -
A Friendly Geeks # is 404-234-2703; he is GREAT!

We use it here, for my son. The minutes that go unused, are carried over to the following month.

We use Cobb Pediatrics and Dr. Young has been AWESOME w/ "V"...I would HIGHLY recommend them!

and they wonder why people are no longer using the postal service . I STOCKED up on the forever stamps when they first came out. I've decided to hang onto them for the next 5 - 10 years when the postage REALLY goes up . I really only use a few stamps a month...I began paying most of my bills online about 4 months ago, through my bank. I think we should all do our part for the US Postal service and mail ALL the junk mail / "approved" credit card companies their "prepaid" envelopes back
-
I have, and use straighttalk also. For what I need it for, it has been great. There are things that I don't "like" about it...but, hey, it is $30/mth I pay. I would definitly recommend it.

I've been doing it @ 5 years now and I LOVE it! It beats getting a few months of $400 bills ~ the bills do "fluctuate" (because they take a average of the 12 months, so it changes monthly), but, I always pay $200, even if it comes in at $150...I've also had a few come in at $210
-
I don't even pay attention to mine~we are on budget billing and I pay $200 month, regardless
-
I don't know of any offices that accept payment plans. I do know that when we have someone who wants to make a "payment plan"; we offer them Care Credit or Chase Advance...both offer interest free finanacing (at least at our office). Also, it is always better to try and safe a tooth, vs extracting it. Good luck!

I had a few boxes....took it back to publix, with no problems

Paulding Co Animal Control ~ no longer rescue friendly.

Really? I adopted a kitten from A/C and got her fixed through CatSnip. I was told they (CatSnip) would transfer the paperwork to the shelter. Long story short, the paperwork never got transfered and I got not one, but two calls from Animal Conrol asking for the proof the kitten had been fixed. Same happened w/ a dog that I had adopted, I got a call (which, was my fault). I, personally, find it hard to beleive that they made no call, no contact and just put out a warrant for their arrest. I don't know the policy, I just know what happened in my cases. Now, I do have to say, that, I ha -

Funny how there is always 2 sides to a story "his", "hers" and the truth. You are going by what was TOLD to you. Perhaps you are not being told the WHOLE truth? Shelterpetsrock ~ let it go...there are some of us who KNOW for FACT what is going on. Others will find out in time who is the "good" and who is the "bad". -
Paulding Co Animal Control ~ no longer rescue friendly.

Sorry, just now getting back in this topic. I will chose to support animals in other ways than at our local shelter. The shelter is putting these animals in a AWFUL predicimate. One should not be incharge of a shelter/rescue/vet or whatever if their HEART isn't it. This is more than a power trip job! As far as what rescue, it really doesn't matter, I believe it has been more than just one to recently have problems. As far as your "side note". Legally, a dog must be held for 72 hours, before being "placed" for the public to adopt. If a owner truly cares about their dog, they would be -

My only comment on this is that I used to FULLY support the shelter, however, with the new "God Almighty Power" in place, I wouldn't spit on the place if it was burning. Whoseever bright idea it was to change things, has done NOTHING but make it worse, and sadly, the ANIMALS are the ones to suffer. In the end, I believe what will happen is most, if not all, rescues that pull from Paulding, will be pushed away by this senselessness. The new "powers that be" have NO interest in the animals...it just a job to them. Why do a job if your heart isn't in it? They don't understand a THING -
perhaps if it's that important, you should page the on call Dr.

Well, I don't NEED it for anything...I'm moving on a want. I really only want it for internet/cell use and limited texting while I'm out. I signed on w/ Sprint and got the HTC Hero, but, so far I HATE it, and am ready to take it back. I really want the iphone, but, am having a hard time justifiying the $90/mth they want to charge me for the "basic" service on it. ETA: I use my cell very little, maybe 100 minutes a month.
-
So, for all the smart/touch phone, AT and T users out there, which phone do you prefer, why? I'm torn between the iphone, the backflip and the HTC.... what I don't like about the iphone is that you are unable to use "flash" programs....
