Do you know what section of the Sunday paper they were in?

So you were planning on taking Marta to downtown and then catch the bus to Hiram? You can go online and look at the pick up points in downtown. I know they pick up near the SunTrust and Peachtree Tower area. i think the buses start leaving downtown Atlanta around 4 and run every 15-30 minutes until 6 or 6:30 best I can remember. The buses are part of the Cobb transit system so look at the site. you can pay the driver. Its around $4-5 one way.

Before I get out and start driving all over the place

I usually get mine at Home Depot but I checked behind home Depot at the intersection and got some papers from the guy there. -
This is a great week for coupons. They weren't in hiram at the usual place and time the last few weeks. Where and what time did you get yours lately?
-
Those horrible Democrats did it. LOL!!

Yes even us mean ole' liberals are capable of random acts of kindness without knowledge of this post. I gave a coupon to a gentleman buying prune juice yesterday. He promptly went back and got a larger bottle because of the coupon. LOL! I killed two birds with that by helping Publix and the man with his 'er issue.

I swung by Ingles this morning to pick up 2 gallons of ice cream and a couple of boxes of kleenex. All of which I had coupons for. I also had a 5% off coupon that I had handed to the cashier. The cashier was writing in the amount on the kleenex coupons and hadn't rang up the 5% off coupon. A lady with a buggy full of groceries came up behind me and I got it back from the cashier and gave it to the lady behind me. My total was only $7 and change so it was better served by someone who had a buggy full of groceries.

Where Were You on 9-11-01, When You Heard About the Twin Towers?

I was at work and had my radio real low and had to turn it up because I couldn't believe what I just heard was correct about a plane hitting the world trade center. It was and and shortly thereafter my coworker and I were in the conference room watching right around the time the 2nd plane hit. -
My personal belief is that the body is merely the vessel of the soul. However, I do not believe in the desecration of bodies. The complete body should be returned to nature where it was derived. Upon my death, I wish to be cremated and my ashes scattered in the woods or be organically buried.

How awful. Prayers said for the boy. It makes you question how safe it really is to let your kids ride those things. We didn't have school buses where I grew up.

No to organ donation alive or dead.

I had this happen some time ago and it can reattach. Apparently mine did but I did have some lingering pain for a period of time afterwards and did go to PT for a couple of sessions.

So I wonder what impact this will have on all the kid's consignment sales they have at various Church's in the spring and Fall. I look forward to going to the one at the Methodist Church in Dallas. Has anyone heard if it has been cancelled?

Ours went up about $125 this year. I will be appealing next year if it does not go down since I have the sale of a new home that was not a foreclosure that is the exact floor plan of ours that sold for $30,000 less than we paid.

Some days I think I need to be sent the looney bin after dealing with just one. More power to her if she can keep her sanity. On the gov't subsidy part, that number of dependents sure does reduce their taxable income. Does anyone know if their is a cap or phase out on dependents?

I agree with everything you said. Especially the part about Jesus.

I think a lot of the items included in the recent Mega deals at Kroger had these labels. I know some of the Brownie mixes and Hamburger Helpers did.

It was quick link to the facts that are on many reputable and some that are so so. Point is story wasn't covered on cnn or msnbc but does raise issues to where this flu strain came from and who stands to benefit. The same entity that accidently let it out. Hmm!

It is interested that some history surrounding Baxter and the H1N1 flu virus has been suppressed by the US main stream media. http://www.scribd.com/doc/16803411/H1N1Jou...-Files-Charges2 Part of the reason I won't be taking it.

I'd let them kill me before forcing me to take the vaccine. Who knows what's in it....

Two local banks with Cease and Desist Orders
winston1972 replied to winston1972's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Good to know. I bank with Regions and am concerned about one of the footnotes they had in a recent 10-Q where they basically stated that they would be nagatively capitalized if the balance sheet reflected the true value of their loan portfolio. Here's the link to the article discussing this. The problem with this is this is not unique to Regions there are a lot of banks in this position. We're thinking about moving our main account that we pay bills out of to Navy Federal Credit Union so we won't have any issues if Regions is acquired with electronic and check payments not going thro -
Kroger has the double stack for 2.50 so if you use the $1 off coupon even with tax it comes out cheaper than buying them on Saturday. LOL. I like my Saturday paper though.
-
I suspect our gig is up. I'll see if the coupon for the double stack is still on ajc and will pick up a couple at Kroger tomorrow.

I consistently got them at Home Depot for months but the past few weeks have been chaotic so I haven't been back up there. They were always there starting around 11:30 so I wonder what happened.
