When reconnecting everything did you turn on the modem first (let it boot up) then the router? Mine never seems to work unless I do it in that order.

Agreed! I am an identical twin too. I HATED to be referred to as "one of the twins" growing up. HELLO- I have a name and it isn't TWIN!! But now being grown, I love when my sister and I are out shopping and people look at us and ask if we are twins. I can tell you that dressing alike is ok when little but not in middle school I hated that! Even though we looked alike we had way different personalities. My parents decided that in school we would have different teachers and not be in the same class together. I am so grateful they did that as it allowed each of us to make friend

I say I was raised in Ft. Lauderdale but it was actually Lighthouse Point- just a few miles north of Ft. Lauderdale. I was born in Ft. Lauderdale and went to school in Deerfield Beach!

I LOVED hurricane parties too- until Andrew!! I have many friends that lost everything in that storm. My dad worked for FPL at the time and one of the employees stayed in their house with their 7 kids. My dad went to find them and it was a MIRACLE they were alive. They all huddled in this one small room and the only walls left standing was the room they were in. NOTHING else was left. I will never forgot those imagines... My mom and sisters still live in Ft. I was born and raised in Ft. Lauderdale and rode out Hurricane Andrew. After you board up and get supplies time and time again, and nothing happens you tend to not take the evacuations seriously. Thank gosh we survived that hurricane but never again would I ride out a storm again!! That was terrifying.

My best friend killed herself a year ago this month. The few weeks before she shot herself, she posted a few things on FB about being depressed and not feeling like she wanted to go on anymore. Never in a million years did I think I would have gotten that phone call that she ended her life. You just never know what their reasons are - looking for attention or they truly feel like they have had enough.

I believe it was something new they started doing last year. I went to walgreens in lost mountain and they said they couldn't do it for Paulding anymore. New rules stated a doctor not nurse practitioner had to sign the physical form. Urgent care in New Hope did it and it was half the price as Walgreens.

I am always inside. It seems stuff happens around 10:30ish although my son heard it yesterday in the early afternoon. I am hardly ever home in the daytime. Steps are wood. We have heard them inside down the hallway too. That doesn't happen often but it has happened.

Yep!! You should hop your fence and join us!!! No- I hear the footsteps while looking at the steps. There is no one around. We all search for ANYTHING and EVERYTHING around but there is never anything. No way in heck someone could get away that fast.

Yes it sounds like a person not an animal. Sounds exactly like my oldest son who is 6'5" and 195 lbs when he runs up the steps. I have 4 big dogs so I know what they sound like on the steps. My front door is mostly glass and I have 2 side light windows and I can hear the steps while looking from the couch and see nothing. Run outside and look everywhere and nothing.

I have tried but it is definitely footsteps. No doubt about it. We have tried coming up with other explanations but we can't. It isn't a faint sound, it sounds like running up the steps.

Sorry to hear about your loss. I would have been a little freaked out by that! I don't think anyone died. If I had to guess it almost sounds like heavy wooden boots they wore back during the Civil War. We live down the street from Picketts Mill park. There is no doubt in my mind they are wooden boots!!

I think it was built in 1991- so not old.

Some other strange things...my heater and hair dryer in my bathroom would turn on by themselves. My dogs will not go in the back bedroom which is my oldest sons room. They get close to the door and just bark. They will stand in the hallway and just look up and bark.

OK- I am freaked out- AGAIN! We are used to hearing footsteps on the back steps but now we hear them ALL THE TIME on my front steps! I swear someone is running up the steps but no one is there. My oldest son thought I was nuts until today (husband and youngest have heard it before). He heard them (he was home alone) and was freaked out. It clearly sounds like heavy wooden boots running up the steps and you fully expect someone to come through the door- but nothing. Even the dogs start barking!! I swear I want to move!

Hobby Lobby is my favorite store. I would be in BIG trouble if one opened in Paulding!! The other ones are far enough away that I can't go everyday:)

I was bored out of my mind today and decided to try and sew a purse with a zipper pocket (zippers scare me-LOL). I decided to make an East Paulding soccer purse. I think it came out cute.

I went shopping last night and found my youngest a pair of DC skate shoes on clearance for $7.00!!!! I found them at Marshall's in Austell. They had alot of name brand shoes on clearance.
