Carseat? Seriously. Get a nice nightgown and don't forget to pack a few essential makeup items. It's always nice to feel pretty after the baby is born. Also - at Sephora, they sell a type of cleaner for hair that is waterless, so you can still wash your hair if you can't shower. It's the small things that add up!

We run our wood burning stove all winter. It's roughly $250 a month. During the summer, our power bill is easily $600 and up. We're full electric and I'm not sure what this months bill is, yet.

I think the iPad will have less kinks, considering it's mostly a souped up iPhone on steroids, without the phone. Apple should know the technology pretty well by now... but then again, it's a crap shoot.

Eventually. I'm getting it off the go for my business - it will make things a LOT easier on me. Lugging around a little tablet versus this big ole laptop will be a blessing - PLUS the image quality is far superior on the iPad. I wish they had given it a better name; however.

The price is already pretty good for a tablet. Have you looked at the prices of tablet laptops lately?

I just learned this morning that I'll be having my cervical spine fused in the next few weeks. I've been struggling with back/neck pain for over a year, so this is the last resort. Those that are already booked with me will be my last bookings until the end of April. I'm taking the time off to recover and heal properly so I can get back on my feet and running around like the kid at heart I am. Please keep me (and my family - I'm sure I'll be grumpy ) in your thoughts. Thanks! Also - by the end of spring, I should have my studio completed! We're taking it piece by pie

My nine year old had the same thing. She outgrew it by age 7. My daughter was 5 when her problems with reflux started.

My classes were all online, too. I started out doing Graphic Design and switched it up mid-stride. I was totally unprepared for the amount of time I would be devoting to class. I thought I'd spend 15 hours a week and was spending twice that, easily. I graduated on the Dean's List for my effort, but it was still a culture shock at first. You really will love it, though. It's very interactive - definitely do the interactive chats with the professors, it's very helpful. If you ever have any questions, feel free to ask me.

Just a heads up, it's very demanding. Whatever time you think you'll spend doing school work, multiply it by at least two. Hit it running, girl. It's a great school and you'll learn a ton! It's a lot of fun - I miss it... sometimes.
