I have BBQ Ribs in the crockpot. I'll probably have the girls do up some mac n cheese and some baked beans to go with them.

I understand the crisis and urgent need to do *something*, but I just can't fathom a 5 or 6 year old having to sit through school for 10 hour days. :sigh:

My favorite pasta dish is my homemade Alfredo... the sauce is A.MA.ZING! 1/4 cup butter 1 cup heavy cream 4 cloves garlic, crushed 1 1/2 cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese (I use the kind that's already grated in a little round bowl - very convenient but I can't remember the name - NOT Kraft) Salt to taste (I use sea salt) Directions: Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium low heat. Add cream and simmer for 5 minutes, then add garlic and cheese and whisk quickly, heating through. Stir in a pinch of salt. Combine with your favorite noodles and it's the best dish!

I have LOTS of pasta recipes and I follow a cooking blog of my friends who has some ridiculously delicious recipes. I'll link you up to it on FB.

Beef tips and rice! Use a little soy sauce or Dale's and fry up the beef tips. Use REAL butter and sea salt on the rice when it's finished boiling. Serve the beef tips over the rice pilaf and it's an easy, yummy meal. I prefer the Dale's seasoning over soy sauce.

That show is a crap shoot. I've watched a few episodes... some girls go party and leave the baby with grandma, some girls actually stay home and are very good mothers to their children. One common thread - almost ALL the boys involved are no longer with the girls they got pregnant.

We ended up with hamburger steaks, asparagus, green beans and scalloped potatoes. It wasn't tacos.

I'd rather eat paper.
