If you seriously think the economy is worse now that the beginning of 2008, well I don't know what to tell you. Guess things are really still bad in Paulding County, unlike the rest of the country.

That worked out great for my Daddy then. He was 70 when I graduated High School. And I got SS checks since he was already retired. That gave me a little nest egg to start out with, since he put it all in the bank for me.

I would just ask him what he wants to do. He will be off schedule due to the time change. Have all of his favorite foods in the house and just SPOIL him. I remember when my hubby came back he was not comfortable driving so I did it for a while.

Just like they took the COLA away from the VETS. They broke that promise.

People on cell phones annoy me. I was at the movies a couple of weeks ago and I heard someone up front yell at another to get off their phone. They did say PLEASE. I cant stand the glare from them. Why go to the movies, pay all of that money and then text all throughout it? Make no sense to me.

I just saw this. I did get the flu shot last year, and I was feeling great before I got it, later that night around 8PM I felt bad and felt bad all the next day. First time I remember this happening.

Kinda like how everything is blamed on Carter and Clinton. I've read that on here sooooooo many times.

That is really sad that you have to pay that much money per month on 22K a year. We were in the VA Office today and they were telling DH he could come there for medical for $15 co-pays nothing to join. We would never use it, that would be more for VETS like me who didn't serve 20 years. Reading the stuff that some of you guys go thru really makes me feel blessed. I really hope you can find something cheaper.

Facebook is for old people according to my 20 year old son, 17 year old son and my 12 year old daughter....Kids nowadays don't go on it. It is all about TWITTER and FACETIME oh and Instagram.

I saw them back in the late 90's. They were so good. They sounded just like a record was playing but trust me it was live. I also saw Joe Walsh by himself and he sounded terrible...It was more the sound system them him I'm sure. Ck out their special on Showtime. Have fun!

UHHHH I just found out my rental in Paulding has a water leak somewhere. UHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH They said on the news last night, that you can get frostbite in your hands in as little as 1 minute. All the heat goes to your body to save the internal organs.

They just said on the local news for buses to run tomorrow they had to add something to the fuel that costs an extra $70.00 per bus. Did he tell you the coat won't fit in the locker? That is what mine always said

MY DH bought a few coats for the boys at really cheap prices in VA at the NAVY Exchange, it was a waste of money, they wouldn't wear them. It was all about the hoodie back then. When they were little Grandma in Pittsburg was able to get some decent deals on coats. I remember one year in FEB I went to the store to buy a winter coat for my daughter all they had out was Spring and Summer clothes...She needed a new coat because the current one broke a zipper. Grandma had to save the day and buy one up North and mail it down to me. That it is CRAZY cold out, this isn't normal weather f

They just said on the news that it is colder in Chicago than the North Pole. And it was colder in Atlanta than Anchorage, Alaska today.

I didn't own that kind of stuff till I lived in MD. We were there only a few months and had 2 feet of snow twice within 2 weeks. I made sure I bought all kinds of stuff after that. I came from Miami/Orlando to Sunny SPAIN and VA Beach to ATL. Never needed it................. I am not going to go out and spend $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ on coats and boots for small children when they will out grow it and maybe NOT even wear it.

LOL cant wait to see what she writes when her kid is older. BUT BUT MOM the coat won't fit in that tiny little locker and I cant lug it around all day People up north...Well lets face it, they wear NORTH face.....Warm coats that aren't bulky....I never heard of them till I went to MD.
