  1. There is no religion involved. The judge ruled on the law, not anything to do with religion. Are you suggesting we should have religious ideas about sin being illegal? Do you want to make it a crime to be gay? Now we see your bigotry.
  2. Why? This is not political. This is news.
  3. It's official! FL Attorney General said today the state will not appeal the 3rd District Court of Appeal striking down FL draconian law that refused gay couples the right to adopt children. Finally. My Link
  4. You're right. I don't. Please don't respond to my posts.
  5. I didn't say anything about your viewpoint. I commented about your childish remark about the heat in the kitchen. Typical extremists who lies about the facts to discredit the source. Would you like me to point out your post that I said was childish? It had nothing to do with your viewpoint. Post#11. Please show me where you made a view point in there.
  6. I've asked you twice now to stop responding to my posts.
  7. This is not in the political forum where childish stuff gets posted all the time. If you want to act like a child, go back over there where no one will read your posts.
  8. Please put me on ignore. If you don't have the decency to do that, please don't respond to my posts. Very little money NPR receives is from the public expenditure as a percentage of its operating budget. The fact NPR doesn't have to cater to listeners to give the listeners the spin they want to hear means the issues can be explored much deeper and better.
  9. I heard this and watched the reaction of different sources. I don't think the guy should have been fired either and I think his boss was really wrong for the psychiatrist comment. Still, I don't think it is fair to accuse NPR of being "liberal" with this as the main exhibit. Many companies make employee decisions based on a number of reasons. NPR believes his comments (not just this one event, but many he has made on Fox) diminished his capacity as a journalist because it made him appear as distrustful of Muslims based on their dress. Granted, he only said what we all think, but he is a re
  10. There are four areas that have to be seriously discussed. 1. Social Security 2. Medicare 3. Military 4. Taxes Even if we completely cut out all spending on education and transportation, that would only account for 10% of the projected deficit in 2035. If every penny of waste and bloat was cut out, it wouldn't even make a 1% difference. So unless we're going to talk about the Big Three or raise taxes, the rest is tangential.
  11. Agree. It is not porn but to the conservatives that want to make anything to do with sex a taboo topic, it would be classified in the same genre as Debbie Does Dallas.
  12. This is the conservative extremism here, people, not the liberal left wing. It is the conservatives that would want to make cartoon sex "indecent."
  13. Right. I was speaking only in broad terms. That other guy doesn't understand how the process works like he should have learned in US Government class. I admit most people don't get this either but it is the sad truth.
  14. And it has NOTHING to do with national healthcare. Those changes were due to the costs going up that happens every year.
  15. Do you not understand how the stimulus money was allocated? Good heavens. Politics has blinded you. No matter what Obama did or didn't do; no matter how or how much the stimulus money was spent; Obama gets the blame because he doesn't fit your view. I give up. There is no common sense left.
  16. The President submits the budget. Congress may initiate spending bills but the President puts the package together.
  17. You are seriously confused. Wrong person. Same name (Golden) but different person.
  18. I want to make sure I understand what you're saying here. The 2009 budget was a Democratic budget by Congress. The 2010 budget is not from Congress but belongs to Obama. So Bush had nothing to do with it? Don't forget the stimulus that Obama is still working with was requested by Bush and Bush only spent about half of it, while Obama has only spent 25% of that total. How come Bush gets no blame but Obama gets all the blame?
  19. Asked and answered. More guilt by association? Didn't you do business one time with a Klansman? Or a card carrying communist? Don't you go to church with tax cheats? I even bet there are some people who are members of all sorts of groups that you associate with. Does that make you one, too? He answered your damn questions. No body believes for a minute you were trying to distance Will from Obama. Now you're lying and everybody knows it. You just went way down the character scale in my book with this post.
  20. So why didn't you just admit in the first post that you were trying to link Obama with Will for purely political purposes, even though Obama is not running for the GA House and Will would have nothing to do with anything Obama does in DC while in the GA House?
  21. Yes, that $1.4 trillion budget belonged to Bush. Obama didn't submit his first budget until late 2009. 2010 is the first year we've been working on an Obama budget.
  22. Please! The only reason you asked the question is to make every effort to link people's dislike of Obama with Will. News flash: Obama is not running the GA House seat. This has been the same tactic the GOP has been using across the nation and you are just parroting the same. Obvious. Everybody sees it. Just admit your asking the question to link Obama with Will and trying to discredit Will as any other political hack would do. If you don't want to admit it, at least grow up and don't try the childish "I'm just asking a question." I would say "Man up" but in this case it is, "Grow
  23. The money we owe comes from a long time ago. Here's the article that explains we didn't pay through 2007. Here's the yahoo news piece that says today we still owe money.
