  1. Start at your church. I bet they have a bunch of crap that came from China also.
  2. Usually at Chick-Fil-A you can turn the book back in for an ice cream cone. Just do that - problem solved (unless the cone is from China also).
  3. You are going to have to stop shopping all together if you don't want products from China.
  4. I had the same thing this past weekend. I took the front blade on my tractor and pulled the nest out of the ground and ran it over. For the ones swarming around where the nest used to be I sprayed a couple cans of bee killer. Have not seen any since. Somehow I didn't get stung either.
  5. He actually said he follows the law when it comes to concealed carry, several posts back. Can you point to where he said he violates the law as I must have missed it. "I follow the law and the law says I cannot legally carry in certain areas."
  6. I'm absolutely open minded to other's opinions, but I'm also reasonable and cannot expect the gov't to protect me from everthing. There has to be some balance of preserving freedoms without over regulation. If you truely understood risk, you would realize because there are so few instances that this will impact, it is not effective. Kind of like when the gov't banned lawn darts in the late 80's (I believe 3 people were killed). I'd rather the gov't spend their time on regulation that will impact more (such as regulation they've put in place in the automotive industry). They can't prot
  7. So basically you are not open to any other point of view, you don't fully understand risk, and you rely on the gov't to keep you safe.
  8. Your argument was "but that the mere presence of a gun escalates the probability that something bad will happen", so it is a valid comparison. In reality, you need to be more concerned with people that carry illegally. That is when "something bad will happen". Obviously I'm not going to be able to persuade you, but basic statistics/probability should tell you this ruling certainly won't impact anything.
  9. So should Law Enforcement Officers be banned from having firearms in these places also? That would lower the risk even further according to your logic. Their crime rate is very similar to the concealed carry population (from all of the studies I've read). I absolutely understand what your are saying, but because the incidents involving this population is so low, it effectively does nothing to improve public safety. Simple math.
  10. Yes, it is simple math, but given the crime rate of the concealed carry population, I would imagine the results would be statistically insignificant. I agree the presence of a firearm does increase the risk, but there are many, many other things we should be worried about before being concerned about a legal concealed carry firearm. Heart Disease, Cancer, Respiratory Disease, Stroke, Accidents, etc........
  11. Zoo, Oddly enough I agree with a lot you say, but in this case I believe you are wrong. There are years of data available regarding the concealed carry population and the studies show these folks commit crimes at a much lower rate than the average citizen.
  12. Your link didn't work for me. My link I'm a believer that everyone, that is legally able, should be proficient with firearms and always carry. The concealed carry population (the legal way) is a very law-abiding group and much less likely to commit a crime than the general population. Lots of data to support my claim. Google if there is any doubt.
  13. iPhones are toys meant for little girls....and I guess guys that are in to wine.
  14. Are you saying your iPhone isn't able to override the poll and create the location?? Holy Crap!
  15. If you run from the police they should immediately do whatever is necessary, including shooting the driver, to end the pursuit.
  16. That is exactly what AT&T does on the old unlimited plan I have. We just got 4G service in way north Paulding and I hit the 5GB about 5 days before the end of the cycle last month. The throttled speed was really slow. Painful enough to avoid using it.
  17. I believe that is their premium package, which is more expensive than their regular unlimited. And I think their "unlimited" plans have a a cap of several GG depending on the plan.
  18. It is kind of hard to help you if you can't answer simple questions. My guess is you don't have tethering as part of your plan, which is why it does not work. If you did have tethering, there would be an icon/button, etc that would turn on the the hotspot. XDA is a website. Google it.
  19. Which cell provider are you using? Does your unlimited plan support wifi tethering? If your are with AT&T it does not. I don't know if anyone offers an unlimited plan that allows wifi tethering. If you are trying to work around a cell providers restrictions you need to go to XDA Developers website and find the section for your phone and do LOTS of reading. If you do get a work around to work your cell provider will likely find out. I'm on the AT&T unlimited plan and would not risk losing it by trying to cheat the system. If your plan does support tethering call your provider for
  20. Have you used an android recently? I've had at least 5 android phones, and am now using the Skyrocket, and have never had issues with any of them not working. My kids have the iPhone 4S and recently convinced me to switch back (I had an iPhone 3G several years ago). I picked up a 4S and used it for two weeks. It was really all I could take with the device. I remember when I got the iPhone 3G (I was coming for a Tilt) and I could not believe how awesome the iPhone was. Using the 4S was not nearly the same experience after being on Android for a couple of years. It was like going bac
  21. Do you have a data plan that supports wifi hotspot/tethering? If so, there is a button to tun on the hotspot. Based on what you've posted (downloaded app, asking about rooting, etc) my guess is you are trying to get around paying for a hotspot, which is probably why it is not working. The cell providers have cracked down on tethering without paying for it. This is only useful if you have an unlimited data plan (like the legacy AT&T plans). But AT&T has become very good at detecting users that are sharing data and not paying for it and will switch you to the appropriate plan.
  22. Exactly what Riptides said. I must have missed the post.
  23. Bad solution for a very small business without the support/budget in place. Lotus Notes is popular with some very large companies. Personally, I can't stand using outlook. Luckily I've never worked anywhere that used outlook.
  24. Gmail would be a good option. Gives you the ability to share calendars with a fair amount of functionality. And there is nothing to install on the PC, so there is basically no maintenance once you got it working. If you need help, send me a PM. Gmail also gives you the ability to share documents (spreadsheets, etc.) with other people, with Google Drive.
  25. If you can just figure out how to keep the heterosexuals from continuing to have the gay babies. Prayer, yep, that should help.
