Oh yeah--if you see anybody out there working this weekend from Community Makeover-say a quick prayer for us! It's gonna be hot and a lot of us will be working outside. People from Westridge will have on brown shirts for adults and orange shirts for kids. I don't know if the other churches involved will have on different colors or not, but they all say Community Makeover.

My family will be working on the Eckley House on Rich Davis Road. We are building back a house that was wiped out pretty much in the floods.

I can't find the other thread about this. I live in a subdivision off of Cole Lake. Does anybody know what kind of vehicle? My kids and their friends travel this road all the time and now I am concerned. I heard all the sirens.

Just what I have been looking for!! Every time I get a pedicure I end up fainting because I can't soak my feet in hot water and when I try to explain that to the people who can't understand me they always put in the hot water and make me faint. The first time it happened they tried to call 911 but I told them I just needed something cool to drink and a cool towel on my head, but they couldn't understand that. The next time I took my daughter with me in case I fainted, and I did!!!, but she just walked out of the shop because she was embarrassed, so needless to say

We had baked tilapia, salad wedges with home made bacon bits and blue cheese, asparagus and my son and husband had garlic mashed potatoes. Oh yeah, tide girl, we had Rodney's last night for an early Mother's Day. Steak was awesome, as always!!

I didn't know it until my lovely daughter started working at Ruby Tuesdays, but, the take-out people are paid just like waiters or waitresses, so if you don't tip them for bagging your food and bringing it to your car they only make 2.13 an hour. So, please, please tip my very favorite daughter if you go to Ruby Tuesday's in Dallas!!!
