We went to my hubbys friends Halloween party Sat. and he was telling us some of the things he gave out in previous years. He ran out of candy and started handing out canned foods...corn, green beans, peas, etc. We died laughing.

I miss Save Rite...thats where I always got my 25lb turkeys for around $12. Now every year I scramble to find the best deal on it. There are at least 8 people to serve here. We had chili. I have used this recipe for chicken pot pie. It turned out very good. No no...It had to be an anaconda lol. First it was above the inside doorway, then it moved to above the nesting boxes and stuck its tail outside a crack in the top side of the barn then hubby grabbed it with a garden rake and pulled some of it out. It was hanging down the side but he couldnt pull it all the way out. I know it had to be 40ft long lol. Can you tell im terrified of snakes yet..hehe. Thats too funny. I have some crazy animals too. My 20lb Rat Terrier hunches my 90lb lab...ALL THE TIME... and yesterday I swear I heard one of my chickens fart...lol...I didnt know they did that...hehe My neighbors cat has taken up over here and he does the silent meow all the time. Always wanting food.

Thats what I do. Or you can take them out of the plastic and wrap them in paper towles...either way.

The last time I went was probably 30 something years ago and there was a bus load of little people there...thats what sticks out in my memory. But I do also remember it being pretty there

I know from experience with an uncle that not all homeless people want a steady place to live. My uncle, before he was killed under a bridge, would get my father to pick him up, stop by the local bootlegger for a pint, and carry him to Carrollton where he had a room at his daughters house just to be back under that same bridge a few days later. The other day we were out back when I had noticed the little blue birds that live in the bird house out at our stables were having a mortal fit. Hubby was coming down the back hill as I said "what the heck is wrong with those birds?" He came on in the house because we thought that he agitated the little fellas. There is a real problem with the Mexican Mafia in Bartow County that has been going on for years. We will probably never find out if that is who they are running drugs for. If its still the same...they will get 11 do 3. Dang....I was looking all day for someone to fix hubbys tooth too and from what I can tell if you have no insurance you are SOL. The health department in Rome has a dentist but are just as expensive as anywhere else. I have 1 other option...a dentist in Woodstock...cant think of his name right off hand but I will be calling him tomorrow. I will let you know how it goes.
