I have dealt with an ex-ahole since 1991. He never paid much child support and never got much visitation because of that fact. Child support wasnt much help either. Last year they dropped my case because he is back in prison till 2011 but I can start it back up when he gets out. I will keep this case going forever if I have too. He owes my son $13,000 and either he pays or runs for the rest of his worthless life. I know I sound mean but its been 19 years that I have dealt with this. I think its more of an annoyance thing than anything. Hubbys has twitched for years and gets on his nerves but as far as we can find out its not life threatening. But when it starts moving around on your face (like with one of the other posters) then I might have it checked because it could be Bells Palsy.

My hubbys eye does the same thing and what I have learned from the classes I take is that its hemifacial spasms. It can be caused by something as small as a breeze blowing across your face or something compressing the affected nerve. This is what I found on it: The condition may be caused by a facial nerve injury or a tumor, or it may have no apparent cause. Very commonly, hemifacial spasm is caused by irritation of the seventh cranial nerve (the facial nerve). A small blood vessel is often found compressing the root entry zone of the facial nerve at the brainstem.

I agree. Looks like Cyanosis (low blood oxygen levels) to me.

I know a flight attendant that works for Delta that was stationed in NY recently. She was on food stamps because her pay was so low. I thought (but I admit I do not know much about the profession) that it payed pretty good. Am I wrong or has the economy gotten that bad. For us...we live below the poverty level purposely so any downturn in the economy doesnt have a drastic effect on us. I think its just like most businesses these days...like the OP said "I guess the Executive board needs to pad their bonus checks or something."

A doctor I was seeing about 5 years ago in Dallas wouldnt see me for anything except what the appointment was for. I tried making an appointment for several different things at one time and when I went in...he only asked about the first thing I mentioned when the appointment was made. She left out everything else when she made the appointment. It puzzled me at the time but now since reading these posts I see that its not just me.

Back in the early '90s my now 20yo blew up 2 of my parents tv's in one day. He really got into power rangers when he watched it on tv and squirted them with a water gun. When the first tv went out...he just turned the other one on and did the same thing...lol I thought my parents would kill him...but they werent even mad I hope you can get it fixed for a reasonable price.

I know of these weiners, I grew up eating them. My parents still keep a stock pile of them in their freezer...lol. Anyway...the only place we know to get them is Canton. I have searched far and wide for them and I dont think they exist in Paulding. We live in Floyd county now and cant find them here either. I even called the distributor...they were bought out by someone, so my mom said...and the lady I talked to said they quit making them My mom almost had a heart attack...lol. Anyway...they still have them at a small store in canton. If you find them close by...let me know please.

I know that a little sugar helps to get rid of that stink that you get from cooking things like cabbage or greens. The way I cook mine is I fry up a few pieces of bacon until all the fat is rendered then I add the greens to the fat. Fry the greens a few minutes then add very little water and a couple pinches of sugar. The sugar doesnt make them sweet though. Sometimes I add a little sweet onion to the fat before putting in the greens.

Shouldnt it have marshmallows as an ingredient in the topping...or is that sweet potato souffle?

We live in Floyd county now and I dont think many rules that other counties have apply here. Its like living in a different country up here. Believe me...most people out there these days dont give a crap about whats fair to their neighbors. Where we moved from last year...the guy behind us had 3 or 4 that barked all day and night. Where we live now...the lady next door doesnt give a rats ass that hers barks either. And she just keeps on letting that female have puppies.
