ok ... it's been awile. time for a dinner thread. cool weather coming and are you planning or .... just craving something? tonight is a new recipe but still and oldie cooked differently. sourkraut with sausage in bear and onion soup ... in the crockpot. yep a new recipe I'm trying. serving homegrown potatoes boiled/pan fried with herbs. put fresh apples and cinnamon into another crockpot for applesauce. smells good and hopefully is what do you have planned/in the process for dinner?

WOW ... what a post. I'm not sure how to respond but this sure seems bigoted/racist to me ... feels like the wrong post to make = IMHO. Unfortunately, I have to agree --- more violence in coming and not from those that truly are involved but from those that feel they have a stake .... um .... St. Louis is only 575+ miles, tops 600 to burbs (I know, I drive it). Please just let the courts do their thing and not stir up trouble more than there is. I have my view and I'm glad I'm having to make these decisions.

I've heard nothing in today's reports saying it is anything related to workplace violence ... revenge for an earlier shooting of someone aggressive towards police/authority, but not workplace, as a potential but still no motive and no outward known reason for today's situation. and this happening in Canada is just confusing ... like happening in Switerland or Holand or Belize or other such countries ....

It is a Dollar General. Sign went up earlier this week - they are just now wrapping up the landscaping. Not sure when it will open but they look to have started the stocking up while wrapping up the outside. (((and I think that is a very strange place to put a Dollar General or any other store, but I guess they didn't ask me )))

I'll second your recommendation. Had Sanders team install new tile in bathroom, vanity, toilet and new plumbing plus they completed some drywall installation and finished it to paint ready. Excellent job and very well priced. We are still very pleased almost a year later. Next year we are planning to upgrade our master bath and have already talked about getting a quote from Doug Sanders when we decided what we are going to do. Check with the "big" real estate companies like Better Homes & Gardens, Caldwell, etc .... They do have rental listings and can help find potential properties. A lot of properties will pay a realtor a "commission" for finding someone qualifed to rent. That was how I got an apartment before I moved to GA. GOOD LUCK!

Agree great pics! He has grown SO much #3 I think captures the best of him - smile and genuisness. Casual picture #2 shows his great features and a tiny bit of his innocense. Congrats Low - he has turned into such a great young man (and is such a cutie too)

Please contact Animal Control (770-445-1511) and let them know what you have found. They do get people who contact them to let them know of lost birds. They are closed today but leave a message, I think they still check them today. Thanks for saving the bird!
