All of the DSL was down all day yesterday. Was down when I got up at 5am and I wasn't able to use it until after 3:30pm. Thankfully I have a tablet which uses 4G from Verizon, disconnected the WIFI and used it for its network. I could at least get my work emails through that otherwise I wasn't able to work.

Dang that is a lot to go through. Have you considered a double mastectomy? Definitely longer in recoperation time and will need to do some PT, but would prevent reoccurance. I'll definitely keep you in my thoughts ......

Eating homemade cookie dough and store bought cookie dough are two completely different things. Raw storebought dough I would never consider eating and I thoroughly washing my hands, if and when, using it.

Our 31+ year old first house frig is still running, but when we remodeled the kitchen last year it went into the basement area next to our upright freezer ... still runs great and is perfect for all the pickles we made this summer and to have cold beer Bought an LG french doors, freezer bottom, stainless steel frig. Runs great. I saw this story and the first thing I thought of was ...... "can't fix stupid". You bring in thousands of dollars, have lots of fake credit cards and you can't pay the rent to keep you going in your sham operations ..... should be on the "stupid criminals" list!!

If you just want friends around .... why not have a friend "bbq", "tea party", "social", "let's party" party? Invite your friends over and just enjoy them around. If you don't want gifts, suggest they donate to a favorite charity or bring a bottle of wine/plate of food, etc .... Happy Early Birthday Wishes!!

Then why don't you change it up to lessen your "work"? Order a meal from Publix, Ingles, Kroger which means you don't have to mess with all of the turkey, dressing, buns, gravy, potatoes, and buy a pie or make the grown kids bring items? You still get a good meal with family and don't have as much of the "work" (and still have leftovers).

No kids here but I'm going to cook something .... not sure what yet since it is just the 2 of us as far as I know right now (sometimes DH invites people ). I'm not sure what I'll make yet as we are not necessarily traditional on Thanksgiving dinner, maybe DH will smoke a turkey breast .....

They are keeping him comfortable for the next 24 hours (unless his condition changes) and then the vet will check him again.
