Here is the status as of a few moments ago: Still going strong and the FB shares are at 112!! Please keep sharing it and encouraging others on your friends list to do so as well. I will hopefully be delivering the first part of the contributions to Thad and Melissa tomorrow. I am REALLY hoping the first deposit is tomorrow--if not, should be Wednesday.

Pubby is always a great audience. After some of my rants he has clapped...others he just looked at me with the 'you done yet?' look...in the end he was always a friend afterwards--no matter how much of my hind-parts I displayed.

Some may have noticed, I updated the photo and narrative last night. The updated photo was required to be listed publicly on the gofundme site (I didn't realize this until they emailed me). That being said, the button for sharing via FB was still using the old information. I emailed godfundme and this has been fixed. Thanks for resharing--more the merrier!

I am fortunate to have my dream job. I basically get paid to do what I started self-teaching myself to do at 7-8 yrs. old.

They do for the next few days. As for next steps--I am not quite sure they have figured that one out.

I just checked and it is at $1,450. The more it is shared on FB, the greater the chances of it being listed in the 'popular' section of the gofundme site. If that happens, I can only imagine the amount of folks who will see the campaign and perhaps be moved to help!

Just doing what a friend does. I can count on my fingers the number of people in this world that have always been genuine and truly friends; Thad and Melissa are on that list. Yes she is. That was my goal from the time I saw the initial post. Melissa in jail is akin to an elevator in an outhouse. It just doesn't belong there.

I have paid the bail and Melissa is back with her family. I guess that's all I have to say at the moment...
