My vote is the finish the current "park and rec" projects before talking about anything further Freebird come on out to sara babb the trails for beginners are done 1.2 miles. Come out to Mt Tabor the trails 3.7 miles are done. When the county says we can use land for trails we build on them for the enjoyment of everyone. We can only build on land that they own hence buying more land at sara babb. Anything bigger than trails is beyond us. Last weekend in July we are part of the community makeover in paulding and will have a huge work party at MtTabor to extend the trails there,

We do need an indoor pool that we can be proud of and have HS swim teams in I have asked the county for years on this one. I do go to the YMCA in cobb to swim and exercise and always wish we had a facility here but all you can do is request it as that is beyond anyone persons ability to build. I have also wanted trails in the area to ride and run on and approached parks and rec and there just wasn't the manpower or money to build them so we organized as paulding sorba and made a game plan and with the support of parks and rec and Mr Austin we have been given areas to build said trails. M

I do ride a bike on the roads and I do try to give room when there is room. Those guys riding 4 abreast is wrong normally when a car is back you single file so a safe pass can be made. There seems to be a problem with some riders who use the road and think it is theirs, this does nothing to help either side get along. I am not saying that cars are right either as I have been cut way too close but we all need to respect each other. I know of the ride you are talking about and will write on their forum to give them a heads up. John.

I for one like the thought of more trails in paulding. There is more to rec than guns and ballfields, kids need safe areas to ride bikes and run trails and get out to look for critters and play in creeks! Check out mt tabor the kids love it and it gets tons of use. Check out silver comet again tons of use. These are amenities that makes paulding elderly friendly, ever go to the doctor and he tells you to sit and watch TV, no walking for you!! Haaaa. Freedom of choice. John.

They are looking to use more than half the money to purchase land for recreation and they need this to help get it. I know they are looking at 100 acres by sara babb to extend the walking/ hiking/biking trails there. Vote yes. John.

Dr thinking I might have one so I wondered if anybody on here has had one and what did it take to fix it? I go in monday for the upper gi check and get to drink, I am sure it is yummy, borium water mix. John.

We just got back. Yes it is HOT! Good thing is you can bring anything you want to eat or drink in. My advice go early in the morning as soon as it opens go to ride that you really want to get on then relax and see the rest of the park for about 4 hours, hop on bus go back to hotel eat swim cool off and head back to the park around 4 enjoy another 4-5 hours watch firworks and go back to hotel. Next day more of the same. The break worked great for us you really saw the people trying to make the whole day out there in the sun, not pretty. John.

I held the check and they got 1/2 up front and the rest when they were done. Got schedueled and completed in 1 week. John.

I will have to wait and see if it is a good thing. I hope the drivers down these back roads will slow down and not try to kill someone to get home. Anyway from what I have heard they are going to close the hwy61 bridge to 4 lane it and that bridge will be used as the detour and let out on 61 again. John.

Just wondered if everyone knew that the trail has been opened from Hiram west. There is an orange fence up where the damage is and they want you to go 10 mph thru there but it is useable just in time for the nice weekend. John.
