It's sitting right over my house now!~ Yikes~

Well now........that sucks. I had no A/C in my office today. It was 88 degrees with 4 fans going!! Plus, I rented a house this past weekend and they never told me it had NO AIR!! Thank GOD it was cooler in the evenings!! Hope you get it fixed soon!

After 10 years of infertility, I was blessed with 2. I also had an infant and a toddler. I wouldn't change it for the world. God blessed me, twice. I will be forever thankful for my 2 miracles.

Holy cow. You have been dealt a very rough hand. I am truly sorry for you. I lost my sister last year, and my mother still hasn't come to terms with it. How you are still functioning is amazing.

I am so sorry for your family. Having watched my sister die from this horrible disease, I think your Aunt is on a much better road. It's not a pretty death, and the treatment to try to extend your life is torture. May God bless your family and give your Aunt peace.

Thanks for the info. I found the problem by "googling" and fixed Kirby. He is alive and well once again. BTW, I spent $700 for mine, and it is the best investment I have ever made. I was buying at least a vacuum every other year at the cost of about $2oo each. I would have spent at least $600 so far. This is the FIRST time we had a problem, and it wasn't even a problem. The safety switch was off! Front loaders, otoh, are my nemesis!!!

My poor kirby! I went to plug him in today and he doesn't work. Does anyone know who fixes Kirbys??? Thanks!!!

I also do not know the s/d, however, I have a 2800 sf 2 story with 5 bedrooms, all good sizes. My electric last year was about $400 at the hottest part of the summer, and my gas bill was $400+ for at least 2 months in the winter. I have since started using a programable thermostat and put ceiling fans in all of the bedrooms. My elec bill for May was $160, and for April it was $130. We have a basement, but that is not finished so its not heated or cooled.

That's great. I could lower it more, but I carry a lot if liability insurance because of my umbrella policy (it's a requirement). I am doing the happy dance!!

Yep, they put us under a different Allstate company, but it is still Allstate!

I have had my insurance with Allstate for 20 years, and I have been very happy with them. Well, I was paying the bills last night, and it is time to pay the insurance premium. I pay $410/month for car insurance (several cars, full coverage/underage driver...etc). I went online to Geico and got a quote for the EXACT same coverage for $266/month. I then called Allstate today, told them about Geico, and asked them to beat the price. They DID! My new insurance premium for the EXACT same coverage is $260/month. The only thing I have lost is the reduced deductible on liablilty......big deal!

That house is 3 houses from me. The entry is 2 story, which looks nice when you come in. The master bath has 2 nice walk in closets. It's about 5 houses from the pool. Nice quiet street, no problems in the neighborhood.

I can only find 5 for sale in Overlook. Which address were yuo considering???? 3 of them are on my street!

Of course I think it is nicer, but I live here. I have a 5 bedroom (all on second floor) with a basement. HUGE rooms and big bedrooms. I know there are some nice homes for sale in here. Some with 5 or 6 bedrooms (6 beds is a split foyer). Some of the "Jacob" floorplans have a bonus room over the garage. Some of the 5 bedrooms have 3 bathrooms on the 2nd floor. I just don't know which are which!! lol

Same issue in Overlook! Now we just have them arrested for trespassing!

My sister lives there. It's ok. We had a contract in there but went to Overlook (next door) instead. I am very happy we decided on Overlook instead of Vista Lake.

My daughter just got back from Savannah, and she walked in and handed me ZOTS!! I LOVE them I am enjoying the green apple ones right now!
