I don't think it is fair to suggest she should have gone into hiding and changed her life. When the law cannot help, that is when the gun comes into play. We are forced to protect ourselves. I really hate it, BUT the truth hurts. JMO.... That is what is wrong with our culture -- we cover up and try to hide!

Anyone with ANY common sense could tell the enforcement officers were waiting to get their "chit" together to have an air tight case BEFORE they could make any arrests or announcements. The guilty generally do claim "police brutality, etc." and sometimes (but rarely) it is true. But JUST knowing the facts we were told, it was pretty obvious SOMETHING was amiss.

I like to have it lit up by Thanksgiving dinner, but may not make it this year. Might be a few days after.

I know EXACTLY what you are saying about how you hurt for someone that has lost a loved one, but until you lost one yourself, you truly don't realize how bad it really hurt. I was always there for friends and others and truly hurt for them during their losses, but then when I lost mine, that takes you to your knees. God love and bless you.

How do you do this? I was just trying to find someone that was arrested in Dallas and put in the name and 6 names appeared, but none was even close to the name I entered.

I called home about 7:30, and as of then, NO trick or treaters. We normally have 40+. Strange. Haven't talked to anyone since, but I am sure there will be candy left to bring to work to share!
