While there were many that couldn't vote for a Democrat, there were also many that couldn't vote Republican either. Don't give up Will, there is a place for you in Paulding. Just remember to keep your friends close and your enemies even closer. Now let's help Paulette get this right, or else.

All I'm going to say is never, ever try to underestimate the will of the people. There was so much negativity and mud slinging in this election, I hope we never have to endure this again. It was not just here or in the Braddock vs Avery race............it was statewide, heck it was nationwide!! I still believe Will lost because he had a D after his name.

You know the more I think about this, Paulette may have won because she had an R after her name but I truly believe Will Avery lost because he had a D after his. Don't think it was a good year to run on a democratic ticket. I believe he would have done much better in a different time.

It's over, why are you still wanting to be ugly?? Charlie Watts happened to deliver the eulogy at my Brother-in-law's funeral, they were very good friends. The only implication there was yes, we know Charlie Watts, his wife, his daugher, his son-in-law and his grandchildren.

I caught that, too. I was just going to let it slide. I wonder what the response would have been if the other side won?? Would the people of Paulding County suddenly become smart?? I think we have some great and very intelligent people that live in Paulding County, they are some of the best and brightest people I have ever known. It includes many, many of them that post on this site.

I remember the first time my candidate lost an election. I was devastated, but I lived through it. You win some, you lose some...........you just have to vote your conscience and keep plowing through.

All I'm going to say is I'm soooooooo glad there will not be a run off for Governor. I could not stand another month of that stuff they were throwing around!!!

I will again say, the more they tried to smear Paulette, the more they helped her. I will hold her to the fire and expect nothing but the best for the citizens of Paulding County. She needs to understand why she won this seat.

I knew Sungoddess wanted to do this several years ago. No one would talk to her about financing, it's a shame. But here are some of my thoughts: 1. As much as I love Paulding County, I just don't think there are enough people that would appreciate this. 2. Money is tight, people want to go to a bar to drink, not swim. How are you gonna keep the drunks out of the water?? 3. The chlorine concentration would have to be so strong it would burn your eyes if you fell off the bar stool.
