I have eaten some of surepip's yummy feasts. He is a very good cook and will make an awesome teacher. In my other life I was the bookkeeper for a nice restaurant in Chicago, got to be very good friends with most of the Chef's. I always said the main think I miss about living there was the food. I did learn a lot of the "tricks of the trade". You will not be disappointed, just remember most Chef's don't wash their own pots and pans, and there can be lots and lots of 'em.

Am I reading this right?? WOW from AOL

LOL we actually had Turkey and Dressing today. Got turkey on sale right after Easter, had to cook the last one to make room in the freezer for the fresh veggies. It was the Grandson's birthday so it worked out great.

Tanner is a wonderful hospital, just not in our network

My son did this with an eraser from a mechanical pencil when he was in second grade. All the way from Union Elementary to Paulding Memorial I made him keep his head sideways. We waited 2 hours and just before the doctor came in it fell out. They of course still charged for the ER visit and the doctor to come in to see if there was anything left..................thank goodness it came out but I was not happy!!

Just wash them and put them in the freezer, they loose their crunch but not the flavor. They will only be good for cooking (soups, sauces, sautees, etc.) but they taste wonderful.

Thanks Boss Hogg. I appreciate all you do, and hope I haven't stepped out of line. Freebird, they are actually in the posts. I just want everyone to have a heads up, it this continues the Popo will not be able to keep up. I would be very cautious about clicking on a link that appears to have nothing to do with the post.
-
They are links in the bottom of the posts.

I think you could pm Gem Man 86. I think he knows of one or two spots.

OK it seems we have some newer members putting links in posts. I have noticed quite a few in the last couple of days. I have not clicked on any of them as I think they are probably malicious or free advertising. I am not in to reporting posts, but these make me a little nervous. I have noticed a lot of these in some of the comments about articles on several of the news sites. I think this is a growing problem. Just be careful, I think it's gonna be a little difficult for the mods to keep up with this.

Could be someone from the Katrina disaster, looks like a ghostly person to me.

There are different kinds of pumpkin, some are for baking and some are for carving..............never used the carving type for baking. I understand some people have though.

A Soldier is coming home from the Mid-east today for a two week leave, I got the chance to put a couple dozen of those little 4 x 6 flags along the sidewalk to his front door. Friend, thanks for all you do, I know the two weeks will go by way too quickly!!!

The best part of my day was seeing a wife of one of our soldiers getting the news that he would be home on Monday for a two week leave!! She was so excited she couldn't keep the tears from flowing. Thank you Mr. Z for defending my freedom. You have a wonderful family. Got a driveway to line with American flags tomorrow.
