Hey that's my neck of the woods. So that's all that light I'm seeing in the Northern sky lately.

Anything Oster in blenders and food processors will last forever. Do yourself a favor and go ahead and get the bigger one, I got a small one that attached to my blender and realized very quickly I had many other uses for the bigger one. Sometimes it sits tucked away in the pantry for months other times it's used daily, especially when the garden is producing heavily. I have an Oster blender that was given to me in 1972, it still works and I can still find parts for it if something breaks. It also lets me use Mason jars to quickly make tomato sauce out of our canned tomatoes.
