Growing up in Chicago I was called a "Hillbilly" (their derogatory term for Redneck). I move to Georgia and I'm called a Yankee. Had a wonderful friend coin me a Dankee, aka D*mn Yankee, short version. It's all in fun. People are people and I have been called much worse.

Ditto, sort of. We're having penne pasta, salad and garlic bread.

Taki is very good and so is Hai Hai. I've never been to Sapporos but their lot is usually full.

They were there but nobody at the high school bothered to tell us. He attended the honors program at West Georgia and it was a great experience. Too bad he decided video games were more important than classes. If we had known about this before his junior year of HS, he probably would have been enrolled and graduated from college by the time he was 20. Oh well, he's doing what he loves to do, working on computers.

NewsJunky University of West Georgia has a great program for completing a High School Diploma while getting College credit as does Georgia College in Milledgeville. I wish I had known about these programs when my youngest entered high school. Don't know if he would have given up the Pride of Paulding but I would have loved the option.

I'm confused. Do you want to leave him there or do you want him to move??

My youngest graduated from there in 2005. We had absolutely no problems, just keep up with the graduation requirements and classes. He was a band nerd and computer geek. Graduated with a dual College Prep/Tech Prep diploma. I only wish they had prepared him a little better for college, but I don't think that is an exclusive PCHS problem.

What she said, I think hubby may be very interested in this. Our doggie is great and follows some basic commands but he needs some work on the leash, stay and heel. Give us some more info please.

My brother-in-law sent me that yesterday, his email said it was Minnesota. Where's PWilhem? She moved to Minnesota, I'd be willing to bet she has a couple of "WOW" photos of snow. I have actually been to the UP in Michigan and had a snow ball fight on Memorial Day. It was warm outside but the snow had been so deep it hadn't all melted yet. Get ready for some spring flooding, when all that stuff melts it becomes rivers.

Nothing worse than a rotten policeman. Most are great people but every profession has bad apples that give them a bad name. Shame on him for bringing down the best of the best.
