Union Elementary School Night for Scouting is going on tonight, too. So if you have kids out here in the boonies, come on over. I'm with JTH, the program is great!! Keep an eye out for the flyers your boys will be bringing home in the next week or two. There will be one of these at every elementary school in Paulding in the next couple of weeks. Do you know if there are any other schools tonight JTH??

Thank you everyone from the bottom of my heart. He was such a good person and will be missed a lot. It's been a rough couple of weeks, I'm just glad he's finally resting.

We never truly know what someone may be going through. We've had a rough two weeks and my BIL finally gave up his fight this morning. I've been a little on edge and quite passionate about some pretty dumb things the last couple of days. On a better note, my BIL that was severely injured in the tornado in Arpil is doing well, up and walking after they put his pelvis back together. We're fortunate to still have him. Make sure you hug your families and let them know how much they mean to you. We will forever have a hole that can not be filled. RIP dear Brother-in-law.

Just invite them to sit on the porch and chat with you. Be sure to turn on the tape recorder. I think there's a name for that, something like residual ghost or something. I'd be willing to bet a house once sat where yours does and he may have lived or worked there. I know it's scary but it doesn't seem like it wants to hurt a thing. Relax and enjoy the experience, you might be surprised how pleasant it could be.

So very sad What a horrible thing to happen to a student trying to better himself. The area is horrible as is the GSU campus. My son hated me because I made him go to West Georgia. I just wanted him to get his core classes while he adjusted to college life. I can't imagine how this might effect his class grade the next couple of weeks. Praying they find it and return it ASAP.

Keychains, pins, coffee cups, shot glasses..............bunches of this stuff on I-20 near Carrollton and Breman. If you don't want "touristy" then then a nice card with an invite to visit and enjoy Southern Hospitality. Kind of like a movie ticket or gift card, lots you could do with that.

I like it too. Doesn't bother me if I get the feeds, I've marked mine as "sometimes". If something interests me I go look at the entire page. Some good stuff with great prices on there.

Thanks LPPT, I appreciate your vote of confidence. I lived this scenario for too many years, that's why I moved to Georgia, I was sick and tired of all of it. Certainly it's time for the American people to control this government. For too long they have controlled us and this is where they've gotten us. Time to return the decisions to the people and take it out of Washington's hands. Doesn't matter which side of the political spectrum you come from, they don't care about us, it's all about their retirement, their health insurance and increasing their wealth.
