That's an interesting question. When you move in the middle of the year and you have paid the entire year's HOA dues, does the new home owner have to pay the dues?? Since you have already paid them, they shouldn't have to.
-
Staying home, with a staybreak??? You know like staycation. Afraid to spend any $, we have to eat the next couple of years.
-
It's paid for, I think I'll keep it a few more years. It feels so good not to have a car payment.

Yep we had broccoli, cabbage and turnips. Right now we are growing more cabbage and some kale. Some of the cabbage was planted in the fall, we covered it when it dropped below 25 degrees, the newest cabbage has been in the ground about 2 weeks. I also have snap peas, lettuce and spinach that we planted in the middle of February. They are doing well. Just be sure the bed gets adequate sun and if it gets too warm when it's covered it could actually get too hot and die. As long as it's not below freezing for broccoli it shouldn't need to be covered, if it is make sure you can lift or remove

We are in big trouble. No way, no how can we pay for these things...............we will become a desperate country, controlled by the government our grandparents/great-grandparents fought against.

The almanac says March 24 for Athens, GA and April 6 for Nashville. I usually go with the Nashville date, just to be safe. We have been known to have frost as late as the last week of April. Our garden is a little big, about 40 x 60 so it's hard to cover 70+ tomato plants. If the ground hasn't warmed enough the plants will just sit there and not grow til it warms up to 65 degrees. They say early Easter, early spring and Easter is April 4, maybe we'll have an early spring, I'm so ready. BTW, we usually plant ours the 3rd weekend of April, the ground is much warmer then. I have th

Sorry, I disagree. I'd rather send in a $50.00 donatiion and buy my kid the cheap prize than let some other company make money off of me and my kid. My kid would have to sell 100 candy bars @1.00 each with a 50% profit margin to earn $50.00. Those fundraisers get old fast and like some said, people don't have money for food why in the world would they want to participate in a fundraiser that charges 3X from what you can buy?? I was very active in my kids school, even serving as an officer in the PTA. I am all too familiar with fund raisers that do not give the value of what you are b

LPPT, I only have one question. Are you going to video tape it?? Oh, yea one more, will it be on the front page for all of us to see?? -
Unfortunately there is very little etiquette left in the world. There seems to be a common thread about "ME" and entitlements. How in the world did we survive without cell phones, texting, apps, voice mail and remote controls?? Is there somewhere we can send these people to learn phone etiquette?? More............ Cell Phone Etiquette

I'm here, like you LPPT I've been waking up earlier for the past two or three weeks. Right now, I'm good. The test will really be tomorrow morning.

What did you want your name to be as a child?
Cathyhelms replied to Baileybleu's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Hey, I went to school with a guy named, James James..........we called him Jimmy James. My family has some pretty awful names so I was rather pleased with mine. Growing up everyone asked, "are you a Catherine, Kathleen?", etc. Nope just plain ole Cathy. -
Is anyone else having problems with pcom?

:shok: Oh my!! Will you post some ultrasound pics from your new phone??? I don't like the new technology at all. It irks me to no end when I'm having lunch with or talking to someone that won't quit texting...........it is sooooooooo rude!! I don't like when they talk on the phone during those times either. What would Miss Manners say?? :shok: Etiquette has died, we will be having a memorial service some time next week.

You don't even have to boil eggs, bring the water to a boil and shut the burner off. If they sit in the hot water for 15 minutes, they will be cooked. And the yolks won't have that green/grey outer covering.

Prayers for her and your family MCMM, ((hugs)) for you.

Sorry But we did keep this on the front page. -
Happens in almost every thread. Believe it or not there is actually a way to engage in debate without being "ugly". Praise Thee has learned to respond to some posters with a level of civility, but with others it's so very difficult. BTW, what happened to the original Jughaid, the one who signed up with this screen name in 2004?? I hear he is moving out of state, how is it you ended up with his screen name Jughaid??

Thoughts, you are one smart cookie. I'm so glad you haven't been "revised", you are who you are and are very proud of it. Thanks for being you!!
