Question for those in the know about the law...
Cathyhelms replied to subby1's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Who's name is the car in?? You can always draw up a bill of sale for a new owner, they have a couple of days to get a new tag. Of course you'll have to pay for the title transfer. -
So sorry John, you are a good doggie daddy.

Would you be satisfied and agree Jughaid is an EXTREME liberal?? AW2008, seems like if they are buying lunch you are indeed getting paid. -

Not me silly, it was Pcom. But thanks for being concerned. I think it's all better.

Have fun, looks like the weather is going to be perfect!! A little liquid sunshine is a requirement. Be prepared to sleep a little and have lots of fun. You're going to be a great troop guide. On the health care debacle, we'll keep the ball rolling while you're gone.

ACORN WILL BE CLOSING ITS OPERATIONS.........
Cathyhelms replied to lowrider's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Good to know things haven't changed much in the 27 years since I finally got out of that place. But then again, they've been that way for at least 100 years. Their money will be flowing again. Wonder which attorney gave them this advice?? Know anyone that's an attorney that's closely tied to this group?? -
Praying for a good outcome.

Great minds, you know the rest. I was just going to say this, they are just reorganizing so they can get all that government money again!! Nothing's changed but their name. They've split it up so next time someone screws up, just one branch will lose funding not everyone. Pay attention to the hand you don't really see moving. I would also venture to guess none of them will have over 49 employees. -
No surprise here, it's the government - red tape, orders, you know the drill.

 I will make sure your family is aware of your wishes, sorry I don't think they'll give it to you in advance.

I would be willing to bet you could get one made for much less than you have already paid for it.

No DCR, it's not a tombstone, it's a foot marker about the size of a brick.

He!! no, I want to be buried not stood up in some corner somewhere while they decide where they are going to put me...............I'll go along with everything else but please, please, please don't let them have control of my funeral. And don't give them any more ideas!!!!!

Yea, it's a weird screen, it's all LPPT's fault.

I don't live far from there and will probably have several over my house from time to time. As long as it doesn't start at 6:00am and last til 11:00 pm, I don't have a problem. I just have to sleep sometime. I say bring it on if it's providing some source of income for our county.

So are you saying it was the non-union workers that are responsible for the Toyota debacle?? Management had nothing to do with it?? I disagree about GM and Chrysler, higher wages across the board have driven the price up for both vehicles. The last Chrysler I owned was a piece of junk. The car was beautiful, I'll give you that but when the ac vents disintegrate when they are touched, the hood release handle feel off in my hand, at 60,000 miles the entire inside of the car was literally falling apart, can't say it was a good car. I haven't owned a GM car since my last one's engine ble

You automatically ASSume they wouldn't honor a contract, huh?? Do you think it might be just the thing that could turn their lives around. You know abstinence and responsible sex is certainly one thing they should learn, right?? But no, you KNOW they aren't going to be able to do that. No one is forcing them not to have children, or forced sterilization. They can have as many kids as they want with as many baby daddys as they want. I just shouldn't have to support irresponsible behavior. I've been a single parent with 2 kids, and I worked every day. My kids ate lots of hot do

Oh yea, and Chrysler and GM have done so well.
