How about staying open a little later a couple nights a week. I know Tuesday and Thursday nights are a great night for me to shop. Less crowds and better selections. Most local businesses close on Sunday and Monday so you'd be right in line with what most of us are used to.

Helicopter flying above house with spotlight on

I knew it had to have something to do you you. I don't think it was your tomato plants they were looking for. Shoot Old Hip definitely has one over on me for this one. Besides, the pool water is much warmer now, I won't need to call 911 when I fall in. -
Wow!!! They like that insulation............glad you got it out before they continued to multiply. Good luck on the replacement, wonder if they have one you could tear apart at the landfill??

I'm in Yorkville, not hearing anything right now. -
OK Pastor Matt, Guard Dad handled the replacement part of your question. Now I want to know why you had to take it off in the first place??

Settling Credit Card Dept. How do I do it?

They will generally work with you on the interest part, sometimes on the purchase and interest. What ever you agree to make sure you do what you say you will do, if not they'll come after you with a vengeance. Isn't there a law that says if you pay "X amount" they can't even dun you? I know there was years ago. My first ever job was in collections for a large catalog company. -
You won't know if it's civil or criminal until you are picked.

Where do you get your Medicare prescriptions filled
Cathyhelms replied to Cathyhelms's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Thank you Guard Dad. This is serious, they took medicare last year, they had all their prescriptions filled there. They never told them until they got the bill they weren't taking it anymore. Jughaid since you think this is all so fine, would you please pay the bill for the last two months of prescription meds for my mom?? You know taking care of others, spread the wealth and all that. It's only around $800.00, I'm sure you have the spare cash laying around. -
Thank you MrsG for donating your time to Helping Hands. They will always hold a special place in my heart as the once "only" place in Paulding County to get help to those that need it. We have donated to them for over 25 years through Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts. Helping our community is the very least we can do.

Nah, she looks like Mrssurepip. Seriously, in one of the pics she is in the background and you can definitely see the resemblance.

I agree 100%, I just didn't want to go there because I really need direction from those that "know". Thanks everyone, keep the ideas coming. I'll share this with my dad. -

Thanks everyone. My dad said they filled her prescriptions for two months and now they have a bill............how could they accept it then turn around and charge them?? They called corporate and were told they had to go to Seven Hills CVS, that just doesn't make sense to me. -
FREE Brick Pavers left over from landscaping jobs
Cathyhelms replied to Harbor Bay Landscaping's topic in Business NEWS
They will go to good use. My mom is almost blind and we want to build her a path to the garden, the ground is so unlevel we're afraid she'll fall. She's only been in her backyard once since they moved here in November of 08. We'll have to get some more but it's a great start. -
Where do most of you go for your medicare prescriptions?? She has a form of COPD and uses a nebulizer with albuterol, Abreva and Spiriva along with insulin and several other medications. Can anyone point me in the right direction??

Been seeing them for a few days now. Two were fighting over one of the feeders Sunday morning.

I'll take them!! Sending a PM. I'll get them tomorrow, I need them for my mom. -
Oh, it's so hard to let go!! Each big step gets tougher and tougher. By the time she's 13 though you might rethink all this, that's when the aliens take over thier bodies. Sometimes with girls it's even sooner than that. But they eventually get over it, and you get your loving wonderful baby girl back. ~~sigh~~ they do grow up way to fast. ((hugs))

I think they are tacky and very inappropriate. I always tip a server well that keeps my glass full and makes sure I have what I need. I also tip at least 10% for anyone that has to clean up behind me. But I refuse to tip a jar.

Nope I haven't eaten since last week, I was waiting on the lunch.

Happy Birthday to everyone getting tags. They are never as busy as they were in the "old" courthouse. Much faster and easier in the new location.

When I first moved to Paulding County, if you had a 445 phone number all you had to do was dial 5 and the last 4 numbers. No 44, no area code or you could just hollar out the door to your neighbors if you needed something, but it had to be pretty loud, they weren't real close. I moved here in 1983. ETA: No touch tone dialing, it was all rotary.
