  1. wanna try it or loves tomorrow night?
  2. So this might be good for shin guards for the soccer players - I'm amazed at how those little tiny shin guards can stink up the truck between the fields and home (maybe 15minutes).
  3. The Scouts are bringing a couple of guys that are worth being there for. ! (And, then there's me!) We'll have hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, drinks, candy, etc. Come see us and have som fun!! All money raised goes to help our boys have GREAT ADVENTURES!!!!!
  4. It did not rain - perhaps I have broken my curse. I would hate to rain on the Cub parade this weekend. But, I will be doing work somewhere else in the camp - maybe that will help. Got the back put back in its proper place after being the ditch so much - shout out to Dr. Vaughn - so I'm good to go for next weekend. Told them I'd probably be back next Monday after the roof work and sleeping on the ground this weekend.
  5. Yea, I know. But, it was alot of fun. And, the best part was hearing the boys say - can we come back next time? That was alot of fun (and here's the kicker) and I learned alot!!!!! You've seen my paperwork - you knew our idea of fun was a bit off. It was a beautiful weekend. I'm so, so, so looking forward to summer camp.
  6. 1Novella's hubby and I took some boys to Blue Ridge to be victims for a first aid training course. In the course of the weekend - I survived six compound fractured legs, six legs caught in vines at the bottom of a creek bed with sever swelling, six falls off a rappalling tower into a ravine, six bridge collapse - compound fractured arm and back injury, six cases of heat exhaustion, four cases of my child getting bit by a rattle snake and going extremely paniced, and four needs to cross the river (the boring scenario). 1Novella's hubby survived a similiar number of various broken bones, back
  7. Oh, I would so, so, so want to have this honor. Unfortunately, we'll be playing soccer all morning in Cherokee county. What an awesome looking car. I'm so in love with American heavy metal cars!!!!
  8. My Boy Scout troop might be interested in a food booth. Can you pm me some contact info?
  9. Do you also do the furniture refinishing or do you send it out? I have a pine table and six chairs that need to be stripped and restained/varnished. Would you be interested?
  10. Do you have and deliver cypress mulch? How much for how much (by the yard/load/etc?)
  11. Go, guys - sound like fun. Our troop is also participating in this - but with a twist....Because of our troop calendar, we aren't doing the traditional drive. Rather, our boys will be at the Kroger's on Ridge Road on April 11th - all day - collecting food. I laughed when the boys told me why - they figure that all the moms and grandmoms will be shopping for their Easter dinners on Saturday - and we know that women always give more than men. So, make plans to come see us that day. More info to follow.
  12. I'll take them. They may not be environmentally friendly, but the least that I can do is keep them out of the landfill. I'll use them to ship stuff. ! Just pm me with the details.
  13. Well run organization (which is why I've never understood why a Mickey Mouse operation was usually associated with a poorly run organization)
  14. I'll be there for lunch. That's an outstanding deal. I didn't realize that you were running that. I love your fish and chips. Unfortuantely, so do my hips - they like to hold on to anything like that for a long time. ! Good luck. We'll be making a point to stop by. We don't eat out much anymore, but you're moving up the list towards the top.
  15. May she rest in peace. I know that she was very sick towards the end. It kinda makes me sad that she died on my birthday. But, in some ways, she's had a new birthday and now she's with God. May God grant peace to her family.
  16. Hmmm. May have to go tomorrow. The boys would have fun. ! May have round up some friends to go too.
  17. Hey, girl, I still need to step up an appointment with you to discuss my catering need in January? Give me a pm so that we can set up a time.
  18. Nope - customs is involved - it all has to be destroyed. Doesn't matter who/what/when - I don't think that even the copyright owners could waive their rights now. It will all be destroyed.
  19. I was there at Kroger's about 6:45 - there was no traffic moving - I ended up going the other direction.
  20. Yes, we need another office supply store - office max kinda sucks. Plus, staples has better sales and clearance. BTW, aren't you supposed to be working today? !!
  21. Mine will probably be broke - I just figured out how to do it with some help from a fellow p.com'er. Thanks (to the person that helped).
  22. Oops, I was looking for a topic this afternoon about that time and ran a search for anything with my screen name in it. Is this what you are talking about? I just hit the search button on the top left hand side and searched on my screen name. Please let me know if this caused a problem - then I can be sure not to do that again during "busy" times.
  23. I know it sounds dumb, but I would probably describe my hubby the same way - he's definitely bald on top - but he still has some brown hair around the bottom edge. ! I would hate for them to be looking for Kojak instead of my hubby.
  24. Thank you very much. I'm not on here alot. But, I've noticed a few references to the fighting, ill words, etc. Don't know what it's about, and really don't want to. But, I would like to say, that this is the place that I go for current information on what is going on in this county. You are providing an amazing public service. Given the way you stated your positions, I will be joining now. You are someone that is trying to provide a wonderful yet difficult to monitor service to this county. Everyone owes you a huge thank you. Your site has so invaded our lives that when something
