That's really cute. this year it's all white on the tree, but some years it's multi colored, depends on my mood. But, they almost always "twinkle".

Thankfully both of my parents are still living (although we've had a few "close calls" recently) and are only about 10 mins away. I see them quite a bit and talk to my mom daily (several times). My husband's parents are both deceased. Also thankful that both my parents and my husband's parents had long, successful marriages. My parents will celebrate 47 years in a few short months and my in-laws were married about that long prior to my MIL's passing.

With too much stuff.

My husband and I started our lives together (20 yrs ago) in 400 sq feet, with 1 bathroom. It really wasn't so bad. Lived there 1 1/2 years. When we moved from there to a 1200 square ft house we thought we were in a mansion. We've upgraded twice and added 2 kids. The kids now occupy more than 400 sq ft.

I use to have the most amazing small house plan. I'll have to look and see if I saved it. You would love it!
