I am a Tea Pot Partier, NC! I've been wondering what the difference is. Australia changed the rules, down there, about the Tea Party. http://youtu.be/7-t-7sCo-hQ

e_s, Logical is not what a ghost is all about. Ghost's are created by emotions. You are dealing with emotional beings, sir!

You Can Call This My Prayer But I Borrowed It From

Being able to enjoy our emotions, like children probing the depths of love, excitement, joy, and compassion is a good thing. But, we should make the decisions that shape our lives through logic and common sense. The principal of reciprocity simply says, "you get what you give." Sense I am dealing with creatures of emotion, creatures bristling with prejudices and motivated by pride and vanity, I expect to get what I am given. Logic and common sense takes a back seat. When I try to help someone see logic and common sense, and they are thinking with their emotions, I may get a pers -
I read through this, and I just can't see how in the world so many people find this couple annoying. It seems to me, that LPPT was the only one who made any real sense about the issue. I wouldn't have a 16 year old wife, but who am I do judge these two. They are not breaking any laws, and their ethics is right on, as for as I am concerned. All I can say, for him, is he's got his work cut out for him with a young lady like that.

You Can Call This My Prayer But I Borrowed It From

Dale Carnegie is the one I learned "you can catch more flies with a teaspoon of honey than you can with a barrel of gall" from. But, through the years, I began to ask myself: "Why would I want to catch flies?" The truth is I don't like flies. I try to eliminate them. If I'm having a picnic, they try to get on my sandwich. I've got no used for them. My fellow man, however, is a great friend to me! I just tell them the truth, and don't apply what Dale Carnegie said would make them love me. Like a mother who wants her children love her so much that she will not take the chance of -
You Can Call This My Prayer But I Borrowed It From

I still apply things I learned, from Dale Carnegie, many years ago, and I mean MANY years ago. Don't think that Dale Carnegie materials are out dated, just because the ivy league has many more principles to work with than just his. Some of the principals, talked about by the ivy league, may have come from Dale Carnegie. I learned, one thing, from Mr. Carnegie, very well. He said: "If you and I want to stir up a resentment tomorrow that may rankle across the decades and endure until death, just let us indulge in a little stinging criticism; no matter how certain we are that it's justified. -
I do not ask to walk smooth paths nor bear an easy load. I pray for strength and fortitude to climb the rock strewn road. Give me such courage and I can scale the hardest peaks alone, And transform every stumbling block into a stepping stone.

Distortions of history occur in the minds of many Christians whenever they see the word "God" embossed in statue or memorial concrete. For example, those who visit the Jefferson Memorial in Washington will read Jefferson's words engraved: "I have sworn upon the altar of God eternal hostility against every from of tyranny over the mind of man." When they see the word "God" many Christians see this as "proof" of his Christianity without thinking that "God" can have many definitions ranging from nature to supernatural. Yet how many of them realize that this passage aimed at attacking the tyranny

Well, no matter how many times it has been posted, this is the first time anyone has ever replied to it. What do people do, ignore the bad stuff and get right to the good stuff? I think they ignore the bad stuff only if it's about their own actions of their people's actions (past or present). People who ignore History, may think that Gen. Armstrong Custer actually made his stand at the Little Big Horn. Well, It was actually his last poop in his britches, while he was running. I post the stuff that people read, but make no comment, as well as stuff worth debating. Topics I ge

Businesses have no business messing with people's health care, in any way. Right to work laws mean that a company can give you a job and take it away at will. If it was not for government COBRA insurance that could do their employees insurance the same way. I just thought I would throw that in, S & D's N! You are right.

LPPT hit the nail on the head on this, and you are right too. The larger corporations buys their way with government through lobbyists. Small businesses don't have lobbyists padding government officials's pockets. I don't blame smaller business for selling out to the hogs, but that is not helping to solve the problem for the country. It just solves the one small little business problem. Things didn't get the way they are from ignorance (or dumb people. things got the way they are from smart people. It was no cough potatoes who made things happen the way they happened, in 2008. A

People who have been taught know a lot of things. But, it may not be things they wanted to learn. People who have learned, it seems to me, have studied more of what they desired to learn. I could be wrong, but I believe I am right, on this. If our parents pays our college tuition, but they put demands on us as to what to major in, than we are not learning, but rather be are being taught. I am no professional person on this, so I may not be saying it exactly right, but I think maybe people can understand what I'm saying.

You know exactly what you are talking about, LPPT! Why are you so cool?

As a Small Business Marketing Specialist, believe it or not, it seems to me that small businesses are selling themselves out to large corporations. We don't want government to get out of our way, we want them to keep big businesses from taking over the universe. It's as simple as that!

Right on, LPPT, right on! There's to sides of the coin, and most of us seem to not talk about the head side, while being very disgusted with the tails side. I like this quote so well, if you don't mind, I will reiterate it, here: "The tax which will be paid for [the] purpose [of education] is not more than the thousandth part of what will be paid to kings, priests and nobles who will rise up among us if we leave the people in ignorance." That was in Jefferson's time, but kings, priests, and nobles, have learned more about sheep,s clothing, and they hide under cover of other A

Thanks, LPPT! I understand your view. However, it is the tax situation that is in need of change. Americans cannot continue to live under the present tax system. I know the Chief Author of our Declaration of Independence is a long time dead. But, what he said, in my opinion, hits the nail right on the head, today. "The tax which will be paid for [the] purpose [of education] is not more than the thousandth part of what will be paid to kings, priests and nobles who will rise up among us if we leave the people in ignorance." "The rich alone use imported articles, and on t

As a Small Business Marketing Specialist, I recommend selling your own goods and services. I have a digital camera to take pictures of the goods I sell. Like the pickers, on TV's History Channel, I go out and make purchases. I also find things for people who has asked me to look for something they need, or want. I use craigslist, or Ebay, but I'm looking into creating my own web page.

The farmer is about to become more important to us than having a job at some mega corporation. In fact growing vegetables, and raising farm animals, is something we all need to learn once again. The barter system will be more prominent than having a job in a corporation. Most corporations have a lot of their workers in other countries. People who do not know how to grow their own food will not make it, very well, in the future. Share cropping will be on the rise, because people have sold their farm lands to pay their credit card debt. I still have a few acres, and I am burning the woo

Here is the fair tax. "The rich alone use imported articles, and on these alone the whole taxes of the General Government are levied... Our revenues liberated by the discharge of the public debt, and its surplus applied to canals, roads, schools, etc., the farmer will see his government supported, his children educated, and the face of his country made a paradise by the contributions of the rich alone, without his being called on to spend a cent from his earnings."

Great, e_m! Thanks! I feel that our answers lie in change, not correction. What I mean by that is start doing what we should have been doing all along. Creating jobs, in China, by tax breaks, makes us consumers instead of workers. Opening our borders for field hands, and construction workers does the same thing. It makes us consumers instead of workers.

Living in Georgia all my life, which has been 66 years long, I have learned that this attitude did not go away with time. Many people say, just because my great great grandparents owned slaves it has NOTHING to do with me. But, culture is not unlearned as quick as some people think. I know different. But, I could be wrong! That is the reason I need help.
