Do You Just Love Your Independence, But
Eddie Bennett replied to Eddie Bennett's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Why should the farmer have to spend a cent from his hard earned money? No matter what the rich tell you they do not work as hard as a farmer, who sometimes has to keep his children out of school in order to help gather the produce. It has been made harder for the farmer, to gather his crop, by a recent onslaught against immigrant workers. It should not be left to the farmer to get his crops to market under such conditions. Because, he should see his government supported, his children educated, and the face of his country made a paradise by the contributions of the rich alone, w -
"The rich alone use imported articles, and on these alone the whole taxes of the General Government are levied... Our revenues liberated by the discharge of the public debt, and its surplus applied to canals, roads, schools, etc., the farmer will see his government supported, his children educated, and the face of his country made a paradise by the contributions of the rich alone, without his being called on to spend a cent from his earnings." ~ The Chief Author Of Our Declaration Of Independence

The world will pick on self-doubt like it is an open wound. As a result you can find yourself making decisions by a need to build-up how you feel about yourself from all the wrong places, or for all the wrong reasons. In other words, if you don't love, believe in, and accept yourself, you will try to find someone else to do it for you. And, seeking somebody else's validation so desperately, instead of your own, can have a huge effect on the choices you make for yourself. Remember that making no choice is still a choice.

How long can you live after your head is chopped off?
Eddie Bennett replied to chindog's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Upon learning that the head still had thought, after decapitation, it became a practice to catch the head and turn the eyes toward the body where the head once was, in order for the person to witness the circumstances. -
Who's right about you? Is the World a better place to live because of your contribution to its betterment? I think it's for ourselves to decide, because no matter what you do you can't please everyone. You make your choices, and everybody else makes theirs. Even those who claim they have maid no choice do make them. Choosing to make no choice is still a choice. Never doubt yourself, for the choices you make, good or bad. You will get the results, and by that you will know whether your choice was good or bad. Some people make the same old bad choices and expect different results, b

You are right, I think, S & D's N! I went through a stage, as a boy, of being as bad as I could be. I seemed to have more girlfriends, at that time. Later, I asked myself if I had not rather pick out a girl from the wrong side of town. I found that the girls on the wrong side of town had more things going for them, and I liked that.

Hospice Care: Some Myths Vs. Reality

Good information, BL! Being well informed is good in life, and is good at the end of life. You Rock Girl! -
I was born in a cane break, and bred by bears. I've got a double set of jaw teeth, and a triple coat of hair. I've got iron ribs, a steel backbone, and a titanium behind with a tail screwed on.

I often say, "I don't care what you've been told, what you learned in school, or how you think things ought to be." I'm telling you how it "IS"! President Clinton would say, "It's according to how you define the word "IS." But, that makes no difference to me, because I define it like it "IS." If we choose to go against labels that other people put on us, it's none of their business. We don't have to define the reason we are going against their label of us. In fact we may not be doing it for the reason of going against anything. The choice is ours, and ours alone.

I find it as puzzling, as shooting up dope, when girls make choices of the guys they hang out with. I have seen dangerous boys with several girls who simply adore them. And, guys in prison, for hideous crimes, often get married to a woman while they are incarcerated. I can't U-N-D-E-R-S-T-A-N-D that.

The chart below summarizes Abraham Maslow's "Theory of Needs". It is illustrated as an inverse pyramid. A person cannot progress to the "higher needs" until he/she has fulfilled the more "basic needs". Sooner or later, if we feel our more fundamental needs have been met, we begin to start making choices based on our need to express the gifts that are unique because they belong to us. There are no two people alike, Even identical twins do not have the same needs. If we begin to feel that our lives are safe, our acceptances are secure, and we have the confidence of good sel

Sometimes, even people who are habitual about biting their fingernails (I used to do that) have good points. But, I quit, biting mine when my father told me, "son, anybody who will bite their fingernails will eat s***." Government, nor Wal-Mart, can control me, but they can inform me. I think e-s' post is informative, and I will have to consider his information.

In identifying the crossroads that have became a point of choice for you, my daughter, and what choices you made at each, why you maid the particular choice you did, and what you think have been the results for your life. In thinking about the alternatives you did NOT choose; what would have been the results of those alternatives? In choosing the behavior we all choose the consequences, even if you are my daughter.

Dead Men Walking, But Some Will Survive
Eddie Bennett replied to Eddie Bennett's topic in RECENT TOPICS
401-K, and IRA account, holders just lost about $500 billion sense the debt ceiling talks began. They think they are going to be okay, but they are dead men walking. -
Huge profits have been made my the people who are not the walking dead. Our soldiers dread leaving the military because they are terrified of the new choices they will have to start making in civilian life. Nobody is going to tell them what to do. There are civilians that can help by letting them fallow their example. There are a lot of people who believe in these words, "Tell me what to do with my life, and I will obey." It's no surprise why marketers and advertisers make so much money. If you make choices for the people, by knowing them better than they know themselves, their bank accou

I know there is safety in the status quo. If you are status quo oriented it doesn't matter what the circumstances are. Even if the situation has never been sorrier, many people still crave the status quo. They don't want any change, even for the better. There is safety in the status quo. Fear is less effective in the status quo, because you are not alone. It's bad enough to be afraid, but if you are alone it's worse. Who am I to try to mess with the setup the status quo has arranged for itself. They don't want me messing with the set up they've got. They all know the rules and they know w

The Board of Commissioners have appealed the Rulings

People who have nothing left to lose are in the works. You can't hurt people who have nothing left to lose, anymore. If they come after you, it will be like the people of Syria, and Lybia going after their leaders. The people, in this country, has more guns in their closets, though! -

I believe that Judge Beavers was right. He was right in my case, which was not against the county. I couldn't get that case to court, because of a immunity clause in the law. www.law.cornell.edu/supct/html/98-1288.ZPC.html I couldn't get the case, which was similar to mine, posted here. But, type in the above web address and you can read it. I'll try again, though! http://www.law.cornell.edu/supct/html/98-1288.ZPC.html I think Paulding county has a reckless disregard for surepip's rights. And, when I say reckless I mean utterly unconcerned about the consequences of their -
I just heard this on Channel 2 News, and can't remember everything that was said. But, it seems that the clinic gave here a cocktail of medication to help her get through the setting of her broken arm.
