  2. It's $165.00, with free shipping, on e-bay. I have two TV's now, but I've been paying a monthly fee on a second reception box from my service provider. Does anyone have advice that might help me decide on this item?
  3. "If you can't be the pine at the top of the hill, Be a shrub in the valley below. The best little scrub in the valley below, Be a bush if you can't be a tree. If you can't be a bush be a bit of the grass, And some highway happier make If you can't be a muskie, then just be a bass, But be the liveiest bass in the Lake! We can't all be captains, we've got to be crew, There's something for all of us here. There's big work to do and lesser to do, And the task we must do is the near. If you can't be a highway then just be a trail, If you can't be the sun, be a star. It isn't by size t
  4. Control freaks have an arrogance, and an egotism, that says the sun can't rise without their permission, and the planets orbit at their command. Being rational is not in their way of thinking. There are, actually, things one cannot control. It's the things one can control that a rational mind recognizes. People should not lay claim to things they don't own. To do so is to put their self-concept in the cross-hairs of undue criticism, while subjecting themselves to taking a beating in their confidence department. Taking a reality break is important to someone who is otherwise a vi
  5. I ordered Lingo, today. I'm going to try it out for a while.
  6. We didn't have any money to give away, but credit took a lot our homes, and a lot of our brow sweat. here's where the money is:
  7. Your opinion is just another AH comparison, dap, everybody has both.

  9. BS is not very healthy minded, in my opinion, WHITY, just like the status quo he hangs with. I wonder if physical health has anything to do with the mind! New life expectancy figures show Americans way behind countries like Canada, the UK and Australia. Why? Living in the world's richest country comes at a price, and it's measured in life years. Graph Men in the US are on average aged 75 when they die. That is 1.5 years younger than men in the UK and 3.5 years younger than men in Australia, says a new study. American women live on average to just under 81 - about three ye
  10. Yes, I am, gfh! I am loved very much, but I am not here to win a popularity contest. If I can do people any good I certainly don't want to do them any harm. Sometimes doing people good is telling them the truth. The US is falling behind other advanced countries in longevity gains. This is the essential content of stories that appeared this week in almost every major newspaper. The stories are based on a carefully-crafted study released by the National Academy of Sciences. Many US citizens like to think of our country as “having the most advanced medical system in the world.”
  11. The blame should be put on the people responsible for the circumstances. Democrats are not blaming everybody else, they are simply putting the blame where it belongs.
  12. NO! This is a thread about logic and common sense, in my opinion. But thanks for your opinion, too, Mrs.O!
  13. Logic, and common sense, is not what Republicans want people to have, PUBBY! They like ignorance. Ignorant people spend a lot of money, at the doctors office, if they happen to have any money, like if they win in poker, or hit the lottery, somewhere. Republicans just like dumb people. Here in Georgia there is a shining example of that.
  14. Okay, guys! That is enough of that BS! I don't give a rats arse about all that much s***. I just wanted to know about installing a hard drive.
  15. Does she have more than on phone operating off MagicJack? Like when she gets a call can she answer it in different rooms in the house? Thanks for your information, M J R, and everyone else's above. I will just let everybody know how I appreciate it, in my reply to you.
  16. I also use them. So far they have been great, and I have used them for 2 years, now!
  17. That is a fact! 17,000 politicians, in Georgia, are not concerned that they have not filed stat law required paperwork with the Ethics commission. 17,000 delinquent politicians is a lot of them. They are probable not worried about the Ethics Commission, because it has all but been done away with, In Georgia.
  18. I am nor worried about messages, because I have been told that I can hear messages by getting on my PC and pulling them up. What are some other things that I will have to get used to?
  19. Wachovia didn't charge me a cent for an over draft protection, and would transfer money should I accidentally over draw. But, Wells Fargo will charge me a fee, instead of covering me in the event of an accidental overdraft. I haven't made up my mind to leave them as yet, but it's not looking good. As for as me having to be more careful, I don;'t like that either. I like to trust people more than that.
  20. W M is the big old trash company I certainly don't like. They don't just buy out the small businesses, but they buy some kind of special rights to the land fills. I don't know all I need to know about this. But, as a small business advocate I need to find out more about W M, and their monopoly power.
  21. If goals (plans for the future) get too far out of ones reasoning abilities, the human system is like a homing torpedo wondering aimlessly around, because the target is not find-able. "Happiness is the exercise of one's vital abilities along lines of excellence in a life that affords them scope." ~ Author ~ anonymous Greek. There has been very little scope, in regard to people's lives, lately. I think, however, people are either survivors or they are not! Purpose is much stronger in people with scope, than in scared people. Sometimes scope has to be manufactured within a persons
  22. After having Hell scared out of you, all week, it will be comforting to go to church on Sunday, put a little money in the plate, and catch up on some good news for yourself. Being scared has been exhausting. A young friend of mine, I want say who, has already lost her mother and two grandparents to cancer. It scares her to think that she may be predisposed to cancer herself. When she thinks about it, I see a tear or two that she tries to control, but she tears open her second pack of cigarettes for the day. Fear can cause us to do things that is not good for our own well being,
  23. I loved me a woman when I first heard Percy Sledge sing this song. /http://youtu.be/uFfq5qiR7rw
