A couple weeks ago I asked a question about a 30 day treatment for a hair smoother... well I decided to stay away from the "long term" treatment - the reviews on all of them that I found were really scary. The problem is with the reviews. People are saying they are frying their hair & having to get it all cut off or their hair is falling out or they have the opposite problem & their hair becomes "gummy". Has anyone tried Suave's Keratin hair smoothing system? I have read mixed reviews & want more info before I try it. So tired of ironing my hair!!!

I am REALLY disappointed with some of the choices in the battle rounds.... I will have to wait & see if the voters agree with me.

Last year my husband told my daughter to spread corn meal on the fire ant hills. She went down the entire street putting corn meal on the ant hills. When she got home her dad said that he only meant our yard -- but the neighborhood was a really safe place to play!!!

I would be interested to know if there is a way to delay sending a message on his email provider.... also might be interesting to know how he died. Not passing judgement but if it was suicide & he was able to delay sending messages - it may have been his way of letting his loved ones know he was thinking of them. Just googled... he died of a heart attack.

I love that one! I'm going to have to show this to my husband!!! It could possible pay for itself in 6 months. Another bonus... it would only effect the kids bath!! We have tried that... it only works if they use it . The timer, that is!!! We can't hear the shower unless we are in the bedroom, now they are old enough they take showers before we get up (or after we leave) I have one that turns on the shower, then brushes his teeth... goes to the bathroom.... etc. I have gone upstairs after the shower has been on for 20 mins & he hasn't even gotten in yet (). He can't pay for the water / gas bill because he doesn't work due to being a student athlete... sadly. I should bust in on him! He would die!!!!

I was wondering if any of you knew of any gadgets to make my kids take shorter showers? I had heard of a timer that would shut off the hot water supply after x minutes... searched on Lowes for this, but I only found a timer that turns the water heater off & on like a lamp timer. Anyone know about this or other creative ideas?

It seems the "smarter" your phone is the harder it is to use!! I think you'll need to take the battery out. When my blackberry gives me attitude, I have to cut its power totally!

I love to clean spots on my carpet with baby wipes... My son eye-black on his baseball pants, kinda like lipstick, and I removed it with Dawn dishwashing liquid.

Because only the city of Hiram put it on the ballot. Dallas declined to do so & the rest of the county didn't have an election when Hiram & Dallas did. I'm not sure if the county is going to put it on the ballot during the next election or not. Last night the news said that Cobb & a couple other counties were putting it to a vote in March.

I was just thinking about changing my screen name and was checking to see if my ideas had already been taken - of course, they have although most of them are from the early to mid 2000 and really haven't posted but maybe 3 times - tops.
