Guess I am lucky I got my Husband to read one of the books back when the weather was so nasty and he was so bored he thought they were a hoot so now he has read them all and up to 14 and he is waiting for bad weather to read the next ones. I love the Plum books but I don't care for some of the other little series she has written, there ok just not what I really like to read.

Best of luck to you and anyone else trying to stop or quit smoking. I have not had nor wanted a cig. since April 17, 2010. Amost a year. I am sorry to say that eventhough I knew I should I didn't want to quit or stop but very unexpectedly I became very ill and every time I even thought or to this day think about trying to light up I would and still do throw up. Age is just a number. You are the parent so when you feel that Your Child is responsible enough and you feel that there is a true need. But I'd really be careful and get one of those just dial a number phone, like a jitterbug, so there won't be surprise charges, not that a child would do that on purpose.

Some days I wish cell phones would go the way of the transistor radio. Funny how much I use one now seeing as how I grew up, raised two kids, drove to the store, sporting events and even lived through a few boo-boos without ever hearing of a car or cell phone. I did feel real lucky though that I could find a nickel for the pay phone when I needed it, just told my age I reckon. You know that was a whole lot cheaper than a cell phone even when it went up to a quarter. I wonder how much it would cost to use a pay phone today if there was one to be found?

Maybe you could post a last name one that looks like a recent entry. We have so many new folks in this area now. There could be someone that does recognize a name. I know you may not want to post the whole name, sometime its hard to know exactly what to do. An old Bible can mean so much to a person. I found a Bible and it had a name and church bulletin from a church in Hiram. I mailed it to the Pastor of the church listed on the bulletin. I just knew that they (law enforcement) were there @11:30am and there was plenty of activity going on at 1:50pm. Two of us must have been posting at nearly the same time sorry for the double post.

There are several For Rent signs around the Yorkville area. I was driving on Holly Springs just two days ago and saw lots of signs specially near Sunset Mountain Sub. of course I don't know any thing about how much a month. Best advice is to ride around get a look at places sometime its a lot better than looking at an ad in the paper or on line.

I really thought the movie had been panned. It seems like forever since the shooting was done but the other day I saw an interview with Robert DuVall(sp) about the movie opening. The interview did not make me want to go see the movie I am afraid it just sounded a little boring. I am sure that it is better than the way it sounded to me.

Just a thank you for reporting on the recent scanner news.

I guess it just seems that Yorkville is just so far from major interstates to me cause I do not drive much specially in a lot of traffic. It is like you can't get there from here with out having to go someplace else. Since it is there and that's a fact I just hope it is utilized for the benefit of the people here. I wish they would cut an access road from the back of the airport to hwy 101/113 and then maybe all the big ole, big ole trucks would not have to come through little ole Yorkville.

Oh well I hope they make the most of whatever can be done with the Airport, honestly I thought it was going to be a commercial airport for UPS or other delivery companys, now they are saying nighttime milatary Black Hawk helicopters?. I just don't want to see something that has taken up that much woodland and space go to waste now that it is there. I don't see the big industry coming, hope I am wrong, and yes it is because we are really not that close to I-20 - I-75 railroad depot or whatever like Cartersville, Villa Rica, Carrollton or Marietta. Usually there is little or no problem and the baby will outgrow the problem. I know it will be hard for new momma and grand mom not to listen to every little breath and check on him constantly for a time but thats ok he will know how much he is loved. I do not live in the S/T Sub or any other Sub for that matter but am very very close. I must admit that there was a time a couple years back when if something was going on in this part of the county it was usually in S/T. There doesn't seem to be as much activity going on there these days though and it seems the folks are trying harder to make the subdv. look better and take more pride in their places, for awhile I was really worried that it was going to get so much worse rather than better. Same yes but then I think of what use to be were the BBQ Rest. is now (it was a auto mech. garage with lift etc. plus a store with a restaurant) and it don't seem so bad. They do have to meet the Codes and Standards so reckon it is safe.
