  2. AHhhhhhhhhh!!! MY EYES!!!! IT BURRRRRRRRRNNNNNNSSSSS!!!
  3. I had this great idea for a place people would have to walk down to to get to a spooky fortune teller down in the woods about 20 feet off the side walk. It's creepy all on it own and with some touch ups, down right scary at night. Nobody to play the fortune teller though...
  4. As many now know, we've moved. The display will be at 216 Hardee St. Right down the street from the First Baptist Church in town. As far as what I'll be scaring the darlings in... the polls say they want the Bad Santa back. Only one problem, I CAN'T FIND THE SANTA SUIT!!! I've think we lost it in the move, wifey's gonna be looking for it tomorrow. But we'll be in full swing regardless with the display about 5:30ish, or when ever the first tricker treaters arrive. I might try a maze this year since the yard is big enough...
  5. Lashes for Saudi woman journalist By Sebastian Usher BBC News A female journalist in Saudi Arabia has been sentenced to 60 lashes over a TV show in which a Saudi man described his extra-marital sex life. The programme, made by Lebanese satellite network LBC, caused a huge scandal in conservative Saudi Arabia when it was shown several months ago. here's the rest of the story... http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/8324117.stm ...and if you think the guy got away... 6. Eleven influenza-associated pediatric deaths were reported to CDC during week 40 (Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Kentucky, Louisiana [2], North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, and Tennessee [2]). Ten of these deaths were associated with 2009 influenza A (H1N1) virus infection and one was associated with an influenza A virus for which the subtype is undetermined. These deaths occurred between August 30 and October 10, 2009. Since August 30, 2009, CDC has received 43 reports of influenza-associated pediatric deaths that occurred during the current influenza season (three deaths in children less than
  7. Got a site for me to go see those numbers??? I know people who've got the flu vaccine and are suffering fromthe flu right now, would it have made a difference in those cases??? How did those kids die again, because I know it wasn't from the flu virus the government is screaming about. Got anything other than that moral soapbox you're trying to stand on???
  8. ... just as likely to ward off the flu as anything else. ...or atleast lessen the symtoms... that's what lots of over the counter medications contain, among other ingredients...
  9. The flu doesn't kill you, the complications from it are what kill. If you don't take care of yourself when you get the flu, you get complications just like any illness. 99% of people who get the flu do not suffer complications from it and get over it just fine. Certain portions of the populations who can easly get the flu and the complications SHOULD get the general vaccine for the flu, but it's certainly not warrented on levels that the government is advising for the public...
  10. WHAT??? Lots of conflicting information??? It's no worse than the regular flu??? 99% of people who get it DON'T DIE??? But that's not what's being told to the public!!! That's not what is driving flu vaccine sales thru the roof!!! Sales on a vaccine to prevent a virus that's not fatal to 99% of the populous that's being marketed like it's the next bubonic plague??? Nooooooooooooo, it's not killing millions here in the US??? You're kidding...
  11. Wow, sounds like fear of the flu is generating major money for the Pharmacutical Bussiness!!! ...couldn't have planned it any better myself...
  12. We try and wait for it to get cold before we carve ours. The past few years it hasn't gotten cool till after Halloween, but this year I think we will carve it tonight...
  13. Bad Santa Evil Priest of Poon Tang I'd forgot I had a pic of Bad Santa on Photobucket... Maybe this will make the choices a little easier...
