Sav A Lot had 10# baags of leg quarters for $0.29 a pound a couple of weeks ago. I got 6 bags. There is supposed to be a Sav A Lot opening in Dallas, but I am not sure where. They have the best meat deals, bar none.

King Bill annointed King Jerry Kimg Jerry annointed King David King David annointed King ????? When will it stop? And from where I sit, all the ex-Kings are sitting back laughing right now because they have twisted this election to a no lose propositoon for themselves. And, as a bonus, the only opposition they had is now fighting amoungst themsleves. Again, a win win for the ex-kings. Thay win, and come out on top no matter what unless there is some serious working out solutions instead of fighting. -
Tonight, left overs we brought back from our trip. Grilled Country style pork chops, chook thighs, corn on the cob, with mac & Cheese and a big tossed salad. Tomorrow doing creamed chipped beef on toast for brunch, with the visiting In Laws. And braised short ribs for dinner. Bon petite Y'all!!!

Mrs Surepip is doing the best she can with what we have to work with. Our raised bed garden of 25 years now gone, we are adapting. We are now gutter gardeners.

Hope the Wellstar staff doesn't kill you. Get well soon!

Ali was an icon all unto himself, unparralleled as a boxer. And don't forget, when he was refused Consciencious Objector status when drafted by the army, he was stripped of his title at the height of his game, and sent to prison. He missed what should have been his best physical period of boxing, where he had honed his skills, gaining experience, and had the body mass to deliver stunning blows. I always gave him his due credit for making the comeback he did after having it all taken away. His lighting of the Olympic Flame in Atlanta in 1996 was a gratifying moment for him and his

Right out of college I worked for Krupp Polysius, the big German steel and equipment manufacturer, in their Atlanta office. We were building a $250Million Cement plant in Brooksville, Fla, an hour north of Tampa. It took over 2 years to build the plant. Most of the larger steel components came out of southern Louisiana, and were transported by barge to Tampa, and moved much in the same way as this boiler the last 60+ miles, at night. Traffic lights and other low hanging wires and cables had to be moved or lifted as the caravan would pass through. At overpasses, they would have 2 large

Other than his house is/was on the market, are there any actual details concerning Blake Swafford leaving his positions with PCAA, IBA, etc. ? Inquiring minds want to know..........

So did I miss it when the justice department and SCOTUS reversed all the rulings that forced good 'ole boy Lester Maddox to close the Pickrick. I remember his sign cover stating "This light turned out by LBJ". Forced him out of business and into politics and the Governor's mansion best I remember.

Well, at least I can sit in Cobb County now, and comment on just how DAYAM stupid the Paulding voters are. Give me a break. I guess I should be happy Ms Koch Galloway did not win. Pubby, I am proud of you for trashing Kirsten as much as you did. I assumed that was your backasswards way of trying to help her. You know, The P.com reader.....if Pubby is for them, then I am against them, and vice versa. But unforturnately it did not work. I think Kirsten would have been a breathe of fresh air under the dome........and. unlike Paulette, I think she would keep her shoes on.

Kroger HAD whole tenderloins [to cut filets from] for $9.00 a pound. I thought about it but I have plenty of steaks in the freezer, and my grapevine says the beef people are sending almost 10% more Cows to be slaugherted than last year for the last 6 weeks. Beef should be in large supply for another couple of months. -
So, what deals does Sports Authority have with their closeout sale ?

I thought the close out sales started today. -
I guess the schools will have to start having a strip search to see who has what between their legs and then brand the child with an M or an F. So absurd, and who cares who uses what. They have stalls with doors for dropping pants or hiking up skirts, so what in the hell is the big deal?

OK, the BoC, along with THE FIRM, and Holland and Knight litigated us for 9 years, at a cost of $2Million plus. We never got a single day in court to discuss a single merit of the case. They denied us our GUARRANTEED 1st Amendment rights to seek redress against an oppresive government, and did so with tax payer money, ignoring the Georgia ANTI-SLAPP Statute, paying another $150,000 to get our Judgement on the ANTI-SLAPP overturned by the appelate court. So how much will the county and THE FIRM spend to keep the Stop the Airport Commercialization out of the courtroom. I understand t

I thoroughtly enjoyed the Ginger Baker documentary but found it kind of sad that he said he was basically broke, and came to find out that he did not get the ASCAPP financial enumeration that his band mates did from all those "oh so successful" bands. Clapton has been one of my favorites for decades. I had all the off beat flash in the pan group albums from his early years. I never really understood why a lot of the muscians of that era gave my cousin credit with the Doors, for having an equal pro-rata share of the Doors Music between the band members that gave all an equal share no ma

Sales tax will raise $110 million for Paulding county, cities

While considering SPLOST, take a serious look at the dollar amount of WASTEFUL spending the current administration has been doing for going on to 10 years. In our civil cases alone, they spent close to $2Million dollars so they could keep us OUT of the courtroom and break us. Gary Gulledge had plenty of budgeted officers to send 6 partol cars full of deputies for the better part of a day to evict us from out house. THE FIRM is paid "whatever it takes" to continue to litigate and litigate over the airport, and for what ? If they were to succeed in getting their commercial 139 ra -
Wasn't Ginger part of Blind Faith ? Loved that band too.

Memorial Day crosses removed after complaints paulding co.
surepip replied to Lady Raider's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Crosses are a universal symbol of RIP, marking a grave. If someone wants to interpret this as a Christian only symbol, and wants to bring suit or some other means of redress then let them. The Judge will throw it out. This is perfectly acceptable as a means of tribute to those fallen soldiers who gave their lives defending their country. -

The dried Spaetzle that Aldi sells is pretty good, but we just had chips last night. We had the fried cutlets on buns with tomato, picklles, vidalia and mayo. Bon Apetite! -
I had a Brasilian fellow who is in town to see about starting a USA company to finish the manufacturing and selling some poultry egg handling equipment, who wanted to meet with me. He took me to lunch at Chama Gaucha on Piedmont, across the street from the shopping center where SlimeLight used to be ages ago. We had a great drive to get there, going Paces Ferry Road all the way from Atlanta Highway to West Paces Ferry, to Habersham to Piedmont. DAAAAYYYYAAAAMMM has that neighborhood changed. I grew up in Buckhead, but have not been down West Paces Ferry in Years. Had a delightful l

I don't know about now, but there were no team prizes in the early 2000s when we were big into RFL. No one got any financial enumeration at all. Our Church team did $17,000 plus the last year we were active, and Melissa & I raised close to $10,000 ourselves, mostly from hosting dinners where we bought all the food, personal money, and the quests wrote their checks to RFL. We would not accept cash so there were never any questions about who paid for what. We covered the costs and time to cook, serve, and clean up, although we did get volunteers to help.....again for free. Paulding

I got 10 pounds of the boneless sirloin pork cutlets from Sav A Lot for $1.39 a pound, and flattened them to an even thickness with a mallet and roll pin. Froze them in 1 pound packages. Got 2 packages in a marinate now to batter and fry up this evening. And I have a 2" thick boneless ribeye steak out that was $5 a pound, with kosher salt and black pepper sitting on a rack uncovered in the fridge for 2-3 days to grill midweek. What are y'all having today ? Bon Apetite!!!

I grew up going to the Lums on Peachtree just south of Peachtree Battle shopping center. Hot Dogs steamed in beer. Several of my high school and college buddies played guitar and sang as in house entertainment at that Lums. It used to stay packs.
