Chik-fil-a is good for lunch but, I'd rather have Martins for breakfast...Wish we could have both...we already have enough Walgreens drug stores...they must be gearing up for Obama-Care! -

I heard it's a new multi-million dollar expansion for Snopes.com. Since so many Pcom users take them as the last, final, nada, zippo word on all subject matter, they have to expand their computer operations. Gonna be managed by Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi...since they will be unemployed in January. -
Depending upon the diameter of the hole...a can or two of the expanding foam following the towel soaked with gasoline should provide the solution. I have destroyed many of these out in the open with gasoline, toss it on after dark and light it poof no more hornets...but the tree bit is a new one for me!

Does anyone know when the Hiram spur is scheduled for completion? I was hoping for a more direct route to the tunnel system from the Silver Comet Trail.

Put flea collars on your husband's ankles? Not trying to make light of the subject...but I have never heard of this type of infestation? Seriously, you might try one of those insect 'bombs' or call one of the local exterminators to determine how they would be in the basement...maybe squirrels or something else is there as a food source for them? Keep us posted...

I would like it if they could provide a more direct route to the tunnels from the bike path! Does anyone know when the spur from Hiram will be built? I have a mobile unit for rent! I only need one for the NY trip! -
Replace it...7-10 years pretty much gets a water heater these days. They are a bit expensive, but a Renai Tankless is worth the money. I think once you find that the replacement heaters have gone up in price...there is a nice tax rebate on the tankless units you might consider one... They never run out of hot water...and only heat when needed, te cost savings is a good 20% over conventional heaters and the life expectancy is 3-4 times as long. I don't sell them...just a very happy consumer!

Us too...Love that skimmer with the built in alge light...Awsome! We dipped out basket fulls of Hyacynths every week and just let them fertilize the flower beds...it was the first freeze before all of them died...They are a disaster in streams and lakes!

Water Iris are nice, but puleeese don't mistake Water Hyacinths for these...Dispose of them quickly! Don't put them in a lake or stream somewhere...I don't put them in my ponds anymore, they are a menace!

I'll have to give 'em a try. But as for 'greasy seafood', I realize that catfish ain't sea food...but they had other stuff on the menu; the Catfish Den was about the absolute worst food I ever tried to eat...it was the talk of the town until they built that new place...then poof! I really do not believe Paulding County is ready for real sea food...otherwise someone would open up the old Creekside restaurant...after all we do have a brand new airport where the goods could be flown in daily. For my money either Bay Breeze or Sea Breeze is miles ahead of Gumbeaux's, Dead Lobster or an

Leeches and Tape Worms were commonly prescribed cures back then. Also a product called Hadacol was advertised and t-shirts were worn with Capt. Hadacol emblaizoned across the front! From Wikipedia: "Hadacol was a patent medicine marketed as a vitamin supplement. Its principal attraction, however, was that it contained 12 percent alcohol (listed on the tonic bottle's label as a "preservative"), which made it quite popular in the dry counties of the southern United States. It was the product of four-term Louisiana state Senator Dudley J. LeBlanc (18941971), a Democrat from Abbeville

I wonder what brands the other doctors smoked? And what exactly was so difficult about opening a ketsup bottle, now getting it to pour was a challenge...That is until you got the air to equalize inside. Many was the poor unsuspecting soul that found stains on his clothing because some smart elic slapped the bottom of the bottle...LOL

And the 'fair amount' comes from...Drumroll please..... You guessed it...US Taxpayers! I remember back in the early 70's there was a government subsidized program called the FHA 235 program. It required developers who were using FHA loans to include X number of 325 homes in their development. One subdivision I am familiar with contained homes in the 1600 to 1800 sq ft range. They were 3 br 2 bath ranch and/or split foyer styles with attached garages on 1/2 acre lots. The FHA 235 houses...1000 - 1100 sq ft 3 br 1 bath built on a slab with no garage. Mortgages were subsidized 1

You are quite correct... Give that man a Cigar!

Here is what you're missing here! First of all Section 8 housing is a subsidy..The recipients aren't necessarily in Tenements or run down projects...they can be in better quality neighborhoods...especially now as housing that has been foreclosed is available and being purchased at lower cost...so... Coming soon to a neighborhood near you...Subsidized Housing!
