That's funny. I had decided she was going through menopause because of the hot flashes. lol

It's crazy and just wrong, our winter was stolen by fall, spring, fall, spring...... The only glimpse of winter we have seen is between midnight and about 6:00 a.m. If we do not get some winter temps around here, for a bit, the bugs and bees are going to eat us alive this summer. Has anyone thought to ask the people in charge of the shutdown about possibly donating the things they may have left over when they decide they don't have enough left to stay open, to community programs ? Or at least a deeper discount off so we can maybe pitch in and stock up some of these programs to help our community. I don't mind going to the one on 61 today to speak with them if it hasn't already been done. Doesn't hurt to ask right ?

Another one for Chick-Fil-A - the one in front of Walmart in Hiram. There is a young lady that has worked the drive through for several years. I don't know her name but she has such a sweet personality, always a smile and when you pay by debit or credit card she calls your name as she hands your card back and tells you to have a great day. That is the only fast food place I see "pay it forward' so often in the drive through. My husband and I tag teamed chicken & dumplings. I boiled the chicken in the broth and cream of chicken soup and when he came in from work he made the dumplings. I can't wait for them to get done.

There was something on the news last night about how there are quite a few websites where people can buy lists of random credit card numbers for as little as $2.00 each. They spoke of two websites based in Germany that sell complete lists of name, address, SS#'s, credit card #'s, they even have personal passwords, etc.. Everything you need to steal someones identity. Some of the packages with more than one persons info. were only $5.00. Of course they said these packages are paid for with stolen credit card info.

Thanks for the info. hers hasn't jumped up quickly but this is a new doctor running all kinds of tests because she found out her last doctor had her on the highest doses of thyroid meds an a couple others that she doesn't feel my sister needed.(the highest dose first) It was like the last doctor just put her on the highest of everything instead of seeing what levels would work first and it has caused her some problems so she changed doctors.

My sister just heard from her doctor that her Hemoglobin ALC count is 6.3 and was told to get on a no carb diet immediately, no soft drinks, eat 4 small meals a day etc. but they just tell you to get online and figure out the info. yourself. Well they don't say it quite like that but they also do not suggest websites or the best books either. I know some on here have this so can you please share the best recipes or books that you have found in your search for a new way to eat ? It would greatly be appreciated. Turn off the main water supply to outside faucets and cover them if possible. Wrap pipes in basements and crawl spaces if you can.
