  1. Somebody who is closer to Thad than me needs to set up a youcaring.com account. It is free and there are no fees. I will donate to the account, immediately.
  2. I didn't say that you agreed with the cop killer, I just said that you were defending him. When you commit a felony murder and get put in prison, you lose your rights. He doesn't deserve to speak to anyone, other than his visitors, until he has served his term. It shouldn't matter what those students voted for, he should not be allowed to address anyone other than his family/friends that travel to the prison and go through security to meet him on visitation days. I support ALL of the amendments, not just one. It's liberal elitists that pick and choose that drive me nuts. I firmly belie
  3. http://www.nbcphiladelphia.com/news/local/Pa-Senator-Asks-College-to-Drop-Mumia-Abu-Jamal-as-Commencement-Speaker-277877261.html This isn't from the annals of history. It is happening now. The guy is a convicted cop-killer. I don't see how you could even try to defend that.
  4. Eddie keeps quoting a commercial that blurts all of this crap out about Purdue and then the only thing that Michelle Nunn says at the end is that she approves of the message. What is the message? What in the hell is Nunn (Martin) going to do? Tell me why you are better than the guy that you are trying to crucify. Tell me what you have done, other than come from the sperm of a former Senator? Let me know why I should vote for you.
  5. Lawsuit seeking release of Michael Brown's juvenile records claims slain teen was a murder suspecthttp://www.aol.com/article/2014/08/27/lawsuit-to-release-michael-browns-juvenile-criminal-record/20953546/ I am very interested to see what comes of this lawsuit.
  6. Pure negligence on the "instructor's" part. A mini-Uzi has horrible muzzle rise and he knew it. Why in the hell any sane instructor would think that this particular weapon was safe for a child of that stature to shoot, is beyond me. I don't mean to be a smartass, but if you play stupid games, you win stupid prizes. That poor girl has to go through life with this on her shoulders. Thank goodness she isn't dead, too.
  7. NEVER miss a chance to push your narrow-minded political agenda. NEVER. People have killed their families with knives, hammers, bathtubs, poison, etc. You are so focused on pushing your sickening politics that you completely ignore the villain and focus on the tool.
  8. In this case......it was. The gun looked real and it was being pointed at people in the store. Not dropping the weapon was the capital offense. I have a serious distrust of government and most police. I believe that the militarization of our police is a huge violation of public trust. I also believe that the media and most interest groups have much to gain by whipping folks into a frenzy. The failure of Pcom has been the inability by most, starting with Pubby, to step back and take a look at all sides of stories. Everyone here puts their agenda first. Common sense says that none o
  9. Don't even get me started on this one. That jackass went to sporting goods and removed an antitheft device and opened a sealed box to pull that pellet gun out and carry it around the store. IT LOOKS REAL! He was pointing it at kids and acting like the fool that he was. He didn't drop it when told to. Good shoot. End of story. Carrying a rifle in a defensive position is not the way to greet the police. I, who carry concealed, would be cautious around ANY person who was walking around a store with a rifle in a defensive position. No sling, no holster, in hand and looking ready to fire.
  10. NO ONE on this silly message board was there. NO ONE saw what happened. I do not believe for a second that a policeman shot this kid six times while he was just strolling down the street with his hands up. I am very curious to see what facts come out. If the cop acted maliciously and recklessly, I will be support the punishment issued by the court. The "protesters" will burn the city. If it turns out that he was warranted in his response and this kid was a troublemaker that attacked the cop, I will support the findings of the investigation. The "protesters" will burn the city. The
  11. Not sure what Publix that you went to, but they still grill it at Lost Mountain.
  12. There are several great sub shops in the area. They are located inside of Publix.
  13. Micah is the real deal. I have more respect for him than any other politician in this state.
  14. COAST is an outstanding restaurant near the old parade grounds. FIG is also very good.
  15. Not really. How do you even know that the person was legally carrying that gun? It could have been anyone. Also, I bet that there is more to this story than what is being told. It seems a little fishy.
  16. I am sorry that someone shot your cat with a pellet gun. I know how upset I would be if someone shot my dog. That is why I try extra hard to keep my animals in my house or in my fenced back yard. Animals that roam the neighborhood are more likely to have something bad happen to them.
  17. After living in a subdivision that didn't have a HOA, I LOVE MY HOA. My old subdivision looks like hell. If the fence was previously approved, you will only have to meet the design standards with your fence, when you have to get a new fence. Until then, keep the old one in repair and freshly stained/painted.
  18. I'm going to miss the old coot. He was a lot of fun to shoot the bull with and my kids loved him dearly. Cancer sucks.
  19. Jeremy does good work. I have used him for years.
  20. They dropped off the trailer and grinder in a field in Bartow County. The thieves must have figured out that there was no way to get rid of it without getting caught.
  21. It will be semi-auto and I would recommend heading to Wal-Mart and buying either a Wyndham Weaponry for around $900 or a Colt 6920 for around $1080.
  22. The tag was covered to conceal it. The sheriff's department is trying to enhance the photo. This is a huge Carlton stump grinder that is on tracks. They are not very common and cost about $50k new. It is going to be hard to move this one. I just hope that I can help him find his grinder. This is his livelihood.
