Kudos to you for caring, icare! Thanks so much for what you are doing. It's possible someone in Carrington Lakes was separated from their pet.

That's impressive!

That's really nice of you to offer! I'll bet those out here with horses do not have a backup plan. Thanks for your kindness to others. Our horse sleeps with us (avatar) so we're good.

I second that. Thought the same thing. But Paulding BOE came through with the safety of the children and others on the forefront. Good call!

We're showing videos of the storm on PCOMTV

I had to click on the volume thing within the video window. It had an x in front of it before I clicked it. Then the volume worked. -
I can't get the scanner to play either. Guess they are off line for now?

Wow, I should say he does need to get over it! Is your work close enough to swim to? lol. I mean, you could always strap on a waterproof backpack with dry clothing and such.

What is the swift team? I keep seeing that.

Has everyone been rescued? Can't sleep!

Tell me about it! We have 4 in here as well. Roscoe is 176 pounds of food processor! Poor babies.

Where was this?

Now they are saying they are closing Bakers Bridge Rd! After a second car is stuck...did I hear that correctly?
-
Ahhh! Did it say where off Bakers Bridge? I'm listening now but haven't heard. Something about Sweetwater?

I'm out, too. And all of our animals are out!

How does one not try to save a life? This is not an aboortzion (we won't even go there). Is a human life not a human life?

I've had a dr. tell me to lay down flat on my back and try to lift my legs (with them straight out). In the meantime he was putting pressure on my feet making it more difficult to lift my legs. He said usually if it's the appendix this is usually very painful. I wouldn't go completely by this. Could be many things but if he did react strongly to that I think I'd go ahead and take him in. Of course, calling the nurses trumps my idea. Hope he's alright!

Thanks! I didn't have to take it today. I guess only if I get called back for an interview. Leaves a few days to practice!

Thanks, guys!

Thanks Nemie. I don't usually apply for secretary type positions 'cause I'm not that talented in that area (shhh-don't tell anyone). I won't misrepresent myself, though. I have the most admiration for secretaries that know all that stuff. We'll see. Hopefully I'll be able to move around later IF I get it.

Thank goodness they are dealing with this in time. I only have 14 degree curves on upper and lower but what I wouldn't give to have that two inches. (only a few inches away from being considered a dwarf) It's just wonderful that they have caught it in time to do something for him! My cousin had a rod put down her spine 20+ years ago and she still does everything. She's been an avid runner, etc. And they've probably come a really long way since then. Prayers for you and your son!

For those of you who have had to do a typing test for a job before..... is it a one minute test? 5 minute? I'm trying to practice with tests online but I'm falling short or barely on their required minimum. Does anyone know what type of test they typically use? I'm pretty quick most of the time but some of the tests are weird. One test put capital letters here and there where they don't belong. I was supposed to just copy, no questions asked...lol. One put in lots of capitals, quotes, etc. Others just did a typical paragraph. Anyone have experience on what

They are right. Boy has it changed! Two weeks will be nice if you're not run off by a hurricaine.

Subby, I wonder if you are going to work for the company that did our roof. We have been very happy. We did have a $1,000 deductible but I was so happy to have the roof handled, it was still a big relief!
