  1. We learned that some deers are similar to dogs in behavior when they are tame. Bambi followed us all around Yellow River Game Ranch. She stopped to sneak a carrot from a bunny but then gave him a free bath.
  2. They specifically state what we can and can't bring for the animals so I don't have a problem with that. Good to know the cereal is a waste. Thanks for that. We'll probably do some of both, bring food and use their food. It's probably a good thing to round out their diet as long as the food is allowed for them. If it made them ill or anything I would trust that they would state that or forbid exterior food. But you are right. In many cases, animals do not need a change in their diet. Kroger has carrots on sale for .39 a bag! And those do not have the added chemicals that th
  3. Just called them. We can bring our own food. Apples, carrots, peanuts, celery, crackers and unsweetened cereal.
  4. Thanks, guys. The email I got was from my neighbor who is coordinating the trip. She said she got the info off of their website. Unless they were concerned about pesticides, etc, I would think they would welcome fresh food at no expense to them. I'll recheck the website just to make sure. I don't guess we have apple trees producing locally right now. Oh well. I would've offered to come pick up all the rejects off the ground but I'm pretty sure it's not the season.
  5. tomorrow. Anyone know of a cheap place to buy apples, celery or peanuts? We're going with the scouts and want to have lots of food for the animals. They have food there that you can buy but I thought it'd be great to bring different food and have a lot to go around. Thanks!
  6. Now if Roscoe had consumed it (avatar) I wouldn't be worried but a Yorkie?! How is that even possible? Nevermind. We have 4. All things are possible. Hope your baby is ok! Looks like you'll be on poop inspection for a while. They may even need to go ahead and X-Ray. Good luck.
  7. That's so cool. I wish my dogs could do that. They get cabin fever sometimes!
  8. Thanks. And I think I would barf if I had to do the mayo thing! I need whatever he's taking!!!
  9. Anyone in here have remedies for hair loss? I swear, I'm losing my hair at the front. I'll shave my head before I sport a wig! Taking Nioxin per Mom's advice. Takes 8 weeks or so to tell if it's working, though. Sorry to highjack.
  10. DD may have some talent in that area. If we could find the right person, we'd certainly consider getting some official training for her. Anyone know of someone in the area? Thanks!
  11. Yeah, we really don't appreciate someone showing up at our house unannounced, especially to try and sell us something. I mean, maybe Girl Scouts but if your a salesman, we'll call you if we're interested! Our house is not your store.
  12. If there is a way they could replace the baby's toes w/the parents' then wait 'til she grows up. Just cut their toes off before you throw them in!
  13. I only wish we could do more. Did you tell Steve that he is Colin's "superhero"?
  14. That is just too funny! Anyone at our door meets Roscoe...see Avatar. Not too many stay. Only once, ever, have I had a guy say "awesome, can I meet him?" That's when you know you have a die hard dog lover at your door! (picture the house vibrating every time he barks!)
  15. That's awesome to start your week out that way!
  16. Pulled rentals on FMLS and only found a couple in that price range w/fenced yard. Might want to try Paulding newspapers or even just ride around in the area and watch for signs.
  17. Nope, my daughter is already lined up. J/K! The neighbors paid our daughter really well when she babysat. I just can't remember how much per hour it worked out to be.
  18. It's too late to order fries, yeah, it's too late... Too late to 'pologize... Local art teacher Mr. Rainey The kids thought it was really funny.
  19. Not sure I know what I'm doing but I tried to give you a star bump for taking good care of your peeps! You're right, it's worth it to know everything is handled and everyone is well taken care of.
  20. Take it to the limit....Eagles, I think "Take it to the liver" courtesy of my sister when she was a toddler.
  21. Forgot to say. Mine was locked. They just busted out the window.
  22. I like your style. Do unto others and all that! There are just some crimes that shed too much light on a person's psyche.
  23. Except for the fact that he needs to be nowhere near animals. It would do him some good to be in a supervised environment where he could actually bond with animals and feel the true weight of what he has done....if he is even capable of that.
