OK. Sure. What about the Amazonian snail species?

So, just how long did Noah have to wait around for the polar bears to make their way to the Middle East and for the Goony Birds from Patagonia? Just askin.

I slow at the yellow light . I don't accelerate. I can't believe how people here drive. On Friday evening, I was in the middle turn lane to turn left onto Hiram Sudie Road with a green light and someone in a BMW who decided not to wait northbound on 92 made a hard left in front of me. I slammed the brakes and made a hard left, missing his door by not more than 2 inches. What an IDIOT. He hit the gas and flew away. I've said it many times, during my daily commute into Atlanta, the worst drivers are here in Paulding County== the worst tailgating, the worst stop sign running and the worst

I think the thief/thieves are from a neighboring subdivision.

I call your Marists, and trump you with 4 years of Jesuits (college)!

Nice to see another PCommer who understands things Catholic. I benefited from 11 years of education under the Dominican Sisters and a few Sisters of St. Joseph. They were amazing women. They rarely spoke about themselves and their personal lives. They were very selfless and dedicated. So, in line with Thanksgiving, here are some sisters to whom I am very thankful: Sr. Mary Anthony, Sr. Assumpta Marie, Sr. Catherine Mary, Sr. Mary Jude, Sr. Vincent de Paul, Sr. Francis Therese, Sr. Mary Margaret, Sr. Margaret Mary, Sr. Mary Joseph, Sr. Mary Claire, Sr. Virginia, Sr. Mary Bennett, Sr

Could this be the same group that was stealing from unlocked cars in the senior citizen condo/apts on Macland?

The various catholic orders have different missions. Many sisters are chemists, engineers, teachers (elementary through university levels), nurses, doctors, etc. Many are missionaries and teach, run hospitals and orphanages. They are all well-educated and many have advanced degrees. There used to be a difference between "nuns" and "sisters", with the former usually being cloistered or separated from the public.

They are daylight break-ins. So, I'd guess not.

I just posted in the discussion area of the Paulding Sheriff's Facebook page. http://www.facebook.com/topic.php?topic=14051&uid=186603318465#!/pages/Dallas-GA/Paulding-County-Sheriff/186603318465?v=wall

Here's a law journal article that might help: http://www.gonzagajil.org/content/view/72/26 and a lengthy resource list here: http://www.justwartheory.com Spent some time on this in law school. BTW, it's not just a "Catholic thing."

Please stay on topic-- this is a serious thread about burglaries in our neighborhood. Don't hijack, please

I haven't seen the any patrol cars at all.

Do you have details on this one? Date, general time of day? Here's what I know: 1) One break-in attempt about 2 weeks ago (I don't want to post names/addresses here) 2) One break-in at my neighbor's house on Mill Pointe Trail last week (some kind of pick-up truck, man in hoodie) 3) One break-in at a friend's house one block up on Mill Pointe Trail late last week 4) Break-in on Amy Lane Friday or Saturday? (pick-up truck?) My wife noticed one of those "cable company" trucks in our end of the subdivision late evening Thursday. Are there others?

It's located here, right?

Here we go again. Sorry to hear this. There's somebody at home here 24 hours now. Porch lights on, alarm on, and cameras going.
-
No, I don't think so. Here, they're going in fast and getting out fast-- getting just the easy stuff- electronics and jewelry.

Sandwiched between Carrington Pointe, Camden Pointe and, Davis Mill ( between Hiram Sudie and Nebo Rds.

We're having bold daylight burglaries in the Mill Pointe Subdivision. Please keep an eye out for suspicious activity and report it, please! This has been an extremely safe neighborhood for the 14 years we have lived here. It's very distressing.

It's a good bet that school employees' spending drives a good chunk of the local economy. Is it such a good idea to reduce the largest industry in Paulding County? In most parts of rural Georgia, the teacher is the sought-after customer, with spending power and stable employment.

Simple beef stew and noodles. 1 1/2 lbs beef stew meat, dredge in flour (w/ salt, pepper and thyme) 2 containers beef stock Brown meat in vegetable oil in batches. Return all meat to pot and increase heat. Add a cup of red wine. Cook for 5-6 minutes, stirring frequently Reduce heat and add 1 carton beef stock. Add 2 quartered onions, one chopped green pepper and about 1 cup baby carrots (all just for flavoring). As liquid thickens, add more beef broth, cover and simmer for 1 - 1 1/2 hours until meat is tender. In a separate pot, bring beef broth to boil, add whole grain noodles

We had more than in years past. We ran out of candy around 8:15.
