We had a problem with our daughter a couple of years ago. She would buy song downloads & games on her cell. I would have to call the phone company monthly to have them taken off. she learned after we took her phone away for 3 months .

Ours got theirs when they were in 8th grade . They text too much .. I miss the days when people had 1 land line . It's crazy , I pay for 4 phones now . My son has an IPHONE . But he pays the extra $30 per month

Many doctors won't prescribe aderall. Many people were taking it to loose weight & it is addictive . I wish I remembered the name of the man or the book ... But there was a man on TV today saying he had been addicted to meth . he is sober now (after he had gotten in trouble & put in jail for a few years ). But they found he was ADD . And he said many adults with ADD abuse drugs & alchol because they do not have coping skills . he even said they have a difficult time with relationships & have a high divorce rate . I have a therapist friend . She said many therapis

They found a rabid cat (or 2 ) near Kennesaw State University last year . It was on the news .And they did warn the students

I have had a couple of bosses with Adult ADD . They come in late , get on the computer , then call friends from their cell phones . Always have to drive off somewhere . Can't sit at their desk all day (and if they did , they would be on facebook or ebay) . Papers all over their desk . etc . They just cannot finish a task . As much as I would try to organize them , it would not last long . So I would not say more children have it now . I think doctors know more about it .

Congratulations on being a home owner !!! How much do you figure you saved in interest ?? How many years early did you pay it off ? It is costly enough just to pay gas, electric, water , home taxes ... etc ... It never ends . I love Dave Ramsey . But sometimes I have to turn him off . People call with money problems & he will ask how much they make per year . And they will say $100,000.00 And I don't see that as being a problem !! haha Or they will call & say they inherited an estate . So I don't relate ... I was fortunate to be brought up with the most loving mother who made many sweet memories for us . My parents divorced when I was 4 , my mother worked 3 crappy jobs to support us . We did not have much at all , but I remember her little things .She made a big deal out of holidays . Like she would make a homeade cherry pie on George Washington's birthday . Valentine's morning , she would make breakfast , and when we woke up , she would have little boxes of conversation hearts on our plates . I also remember passing out valentine's in grade school .
