Those were the days for sure. I had an Italian girlfriend that made regular trips to Vegas to see the Rat Pack and she loved Paul Anka. That's when you used to dress up and wear the big hair!

Have you heard him on TV apologizing? I have and it's the most insincere apology I've heard in a long time from a leader. WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama says he'll do everything he can to help people coping with health insurance cancellations, but legally and practically his options appear limited. That means the latest political problem engulfing Obama's health care overhaul may not be resolved quickly, cleanly or completely. White House deputy spokesman Josh Earnest said Friday that the president has asked his team to look at administrative fixes to help

And don't forget the President lied when he said you could keep your insurance.

You can actually go to an office supply and get boxed sets of paper and envelopes . You can get the 1/4 fold or 1/2 fold. I always used the 1/2 fold good quality because I would usually put a picture or two on mine. You also need to install a program but most are free .

I noticed last Valentines that cards had nearly doubled in price. I had sticker shock $$$ I used to make personalized cards on my computer years ago and I'm thinking about doing it again. And When I think of how many I've bought over the years I should have put it into stocks and I'd have a bundle of money. LOL I also save the cards I get. Decades of them. I don't know why, it's just one of those quirks

I would vote for him too. I really like his style and his politics, but I thought I read a few months back he won't run, but I could be wrong. I liked Rubio but his Tea Party affilician has kinda turned me off. I quess that leaves Christy and then thrown in some wackos. Who knows.

Obama is such a jerk. Obama spars with Louisiana governor over healthcare law By Mark Felsenthal 4 hours ago NEW ORLEANS (Reuters) - A trip by President Barack Obama to the Port of New Orleans on Friday was an opportunity for him to focus on the economy and divert attention from the troubled launch of his signature healthcare insurance program. Instead, the visit turned into a spat over Obamacare with Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal, a possible Republican presidential contender.

I have Sirius XM and love it, especially when I'm in a 60's mood. They were rockin' and rollin' today and they played the Yardbirds, which the group started out with Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page, and we all know they went on to create their own bands. Clapton left the group to join John Mayall., and they later became Cream. I have an old Mayall album. When the Yardbirds broke up Jimmy Page went on to form Led Zepplin. And Jeff Beck went on to form the Jeff Beck Group. I loved the Yardbirds when I was in HS, the sound was so unique. Like so many other groups. This

You know what really chaps my ass about Hiram? You're travelling east on 278 which is 55MPH, go past Highlands and somewhere going down the hill at the Mexican place it changes to 45MPH. And coming down that hill at 55 you're gonna get stopped. They've got their Gestapo sitting up on the hill in that shopping area right before the skating rink with radar and 3 chase cars. It's a speed trap, because as soon as you pass Walmart/tHwy 92 it picks back up to 55 MPH. The part I don't understand is, yes traffic does need to slow down once you get to the Walmart/92 area but to le

I take exception with that statement. Although I couldn't stand Jimmy Carter as governor, I've admitted on here before that I voted for him for President. He was running on the backlash of a failed war in Vietnam and a disgraced president that had to resign and a bamboozle that took his place and pardoned him. Talk about fooling the people. There simply was nobody to vote for. And I do tend to vote Republican more often than not, but I did vote for Bill Clinton, twice. And I would vote for him again if he could run. I've voted Republican the past 2 terms because I couldn't sta

I was at Northside hospital sometime around 1971, not sure what year, but I was visiting a friend that had a baby. Jimmy and Rosalynn were there for a birth as well, could have been a grandbaby, I don't remember. I do know that he was shaking everyone's hand. I refused. I couldn't stand the man, not then as governor or later as president.

Thank You! You know I still get Southern Living magazine. I ordered it for my mother years ago and she would pass it on to me. When she passed away I just kept the subscription going. I love that magazine.

True That! They think they're a bunch of hot shots!! Big difference in the way the State Patrol and even Paulding Country sheriff's department handle themselves. I detest Hiram as much as Powder Springs. And Powder Springs has been crooked as long as I lived there, and that goes back to the sixties.

I don't have a problem with it. Since it's not downtown at Rich's it's not the same anyway. And the tree broke and caused a lot of damage last year. I don't blame them. Ours is fake

I agree about Frontgate, and Grandin Road. Just be prepared to pay a small fortune. But as long as they last, it's a good investment. FRONTGATE GRANDIN ROAD . This place is nice as well here I like this one, but I really like a Virginia pine
