You're right, I remember calling and we had like a 2:00, I figured we would be in between and we were, it was crowded but we didn't have to wait at all. As we were leaving there were huge groups waiting. . . You really will miss an experience at the Diner. It's crowded, but it moves, and the food is so good and so much. .And the turkey and dressing is very good, and I don't even like Turkey. . .

Well I was thinking when you add the fruit into the frosting it would make a beautiful Christmas cake. I'll have to think about it. ....... LOL

Ok, I had to look that one up. It looks like a vanilla cake with vanilla white frosting and you can add; 1/2 cup raisins, coarsely chopped 1/3 cup chopped pecans 1/3 cup chopped candied cherries 2 teaspoons vanilla extract Does she add the fruit? Because it sounds yummy. And a lot of trouble making from scratch

That's what I was thinking about doing. Thanks!

I thought about it....................but then I looked at the recipe. Dang! That's a lot of work. I remember my mother making them, but I've never made one and I thought it would be nice to have one for the holidays...........so I was going to make a practice one. I'm thinking about getting the Dunkin Hines German Chocolate cake mix and make my own frosting from scratch. That's not too much work. So, have you made one from scratch and was it worth it? or have you used the cake mix and was it good?

The show was great today, he and Pete Davis sounded like they had never left Atlanta. Except Kimmer kept bringing it up. He had Bill Clinton and Charlie Sheen on the phone, and of course, Regan I'm sure I missed some, I was in and out of the car.

Parents charged in the murder of 10-year-old Girl

I've watched this unfold this weekend and I'm convinced these two people are inheritly evil and do not deserve to live. This 10 year old baby girl was starved to death and burned to death in a trash can. The grandmother and aunt are very upset because they had kept her off and on and knew about the abuse and tried to keep her. But DFCS sent her back. Now the bio mother who gave up custody and walked away, wants to know why somebody didn't let her know. Hey, you were her mother charged with protecting her life with your own. Epic fail on the mothers part. I do know this, you don -
What I love about the Diner is they bring this wonderful, fresh baked bread and real butter, then some appetizers, then some more food, then a salad, then the entrée with 2 or 3 sides and it's so much food you have a meal to bring home. And if you love chocolate get the Suicide Chocolate cake. O. M. G.

I don't think the Diner takes reservations, but the Blue Willow used to. We went there one Thanksgiving and it was wonderful. It's just a long drive and after that much food, all I want to do is take a nap. I just looked on the Blue Willow website and it says they take reservations.

Marietta Diner!! OMG, it's so good and SO much food! We've been a couple of times the last few years. And we talked about going this year, but I would really like to cook this year.

I just don't understand when everyone knows, you know law enforcement knows, so why isn't something done????? That is very dangerous to someone with breathing issues, even someone that doesn't have breathing issues!!!!!! It's kinda like the guy on the corner in my S/D that sells drugs. We have a Cobb County Cop and a Paulding County Deputy that live in here. I know they know. If I know, they know. So it's all just overlooked. Is somebody getting paid to mine their own business?

I was going to ask if there is anything to vote for. I don't live in either city limits.

Lawd have mercy, we used to listen and dance to Jimmy Reed on Saturday nights when I was growing up. We'd roll up the rug and push the furniture back and dance! Me and my mom would do the bop. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=di1-bB1w4wM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cEkepygs_bM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yi47NjMXA3A http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aB_W54K8SLc

I read this: A gunman armed with an assault rifle entered a terminal at Los Angeles International Airport today, killed a TSA agent and wounded six other people before he was captured by police.

So, he is having seizures. I hope they get them under control. Tripp Halstead Updates 11 minutes ago via mobile Stacy: Busy morning. So, as of right now they have diagnosed these episodes as seizures. He had the first one Tuesday morning. Exactly one year since the accident. Crazy. But I feel so very fortunate that we had a full year without having to worry about seizures. He had a really rough night. He was "seizing" from midnight to 4am. Really hard to watch. So the neurologist (we had never met this Dr b...ecause Tripp never had seizures that we were aware of) was very sweet

Just an update on the ladybugs....or Asian lady beetles as they're called. Asian lady beetles have swarmed Tennessee homes. The ladybugs are covering houses throughout areas of the state and are attracted to light colored structures for warmth as outdoor temperatures drop. Entomologist and Davidson County Extension Agent explained the swarms to WTVF Newschannel 5, "We have perfect weather conditions, and a large food population...This is a perfect insect storm." Lebanon resident Diane Stroud was hit with the 'insect storm' saying, "There were probably one million of them…They were a
