Well, the rain is here and it's 34.2. Guess I'll wake up to a winter wonderland in the morning. Ice covered trees and limbs make beautiful pictures but that's all!!

Well, aren't you just a ray of sunshine? Just kidding. LOL. I'm so praying it's not as bad as they say and hope you get home on time and safe!

<br /><br /><br /> Happy Anniversary, and we did Cape San Blas for Valentine's one year, and it's very nice. It's 60 down there now, going to be 64 on Saturday. Have a great time!

I think it's going to be bad and I dread it.25 MPH winds blowing iced-over trees, Lawd, I hope we don't lose any trees. And 3" of snow on the backside on top of the ice.But it could be worse, at least it will be 52 Friday and 62 Saturday and Sunday. Just gotta get through these 3 days.I hate being without power here. We're total electric. At least we have plenty of firewood.

Hats off to them. I got some firewood from tbird yesterday and thought to myself they could have gouged me, but they didn't. Very fine young men, stacked the wood and charged a fair price!

Due for a recession? When did we get out of the other one?

And the wind. They just said wind up to 25 MPH. Lots and lots of trees down and homes damaged. Sad, hopefully it won't get that bad.

We were supposed to go to the Marietta Diner. May have to do it another day.

It was Valentines stuff for the loves in my life. LOL Oh well. I'm making strawberry cupcakes if we have power on Friday.

I just remembered what I forgot. LOL. Too bad, I ain't gettin' out no more!!! Between tonight and tomorrow you may not be able to get out even on Friday.

I stopped by Kroger after going to the PO and they're fully stocked and wasn't crowded at all. I have this lingering feeling that I've forgotten something, but I don't know what. We have everything, plenty of water, cars full of gas......fresh load of firewood. So maybe it's something else. It's just a nag.

We're in the lull right with nothing.

Heavy snow north of here already. It's coming our way. We're in the lull right now. The dangerous part is when the ice starts tonight, for 12 HOURS. That's what will cause power lines down and power outages. I saw a convoy of power company subs coming down 61. This will be a dangerous storm and I think everyone agrees. And snow on the back end of the storm Thursday morning. I don't expect school for the rest of the week.

It's 34 here. It was sleeting, but now it's just a cold rain, some sleet. I need to get out so I guess now would be the time to do it Joann on FoX5 says it's snowing north of here, as in Canton and further north. >The temperature is making the difference for us. And I'm on 61 south at Paul Aiken

Wednesday is supposed to be real bad. I praying the power doesn't go out.

I got the CALL ONE at 3:00 and schools are closed.

I'm making strawberry cupcakes with cream cheese frosting. I tried a red velvet cake once and couldn't believe how much red food coloring I used. And the cake was just ok. Now my aunt, who's been making them for years, makes the best red velvet ever tasted.

I don't depend on the Weather Channel either. I use local Fox5 and the NWS.

Wednesday will be the worst day, tomorrow could have a little snow or a non-event. But ice is expected on Wednesday.
