I was listening to Bread yesterday, "I Want To Make It With You". I always loved that song. Guess you and me were on the same wave length. The lead singer wrote all 13 hit songs for Bread. I can't remember his name right now but he wrote for a lot of folks including Elvis.

It's a beautiful song. I had this played as folks were walking in to sit down for my husbands funeral service. It's been 15 years and sometimes it seems like yesterday. There's not a day goes by that I don't think of him and wonder how much better our lives would have been if we could have kept him ....... He was only 43 but he did get to enjoy 2 1/2 years with our sweet grandson Jordan. Life is not fair. Now I'm blabbering Dana. Time to say thanks.

They are more like warmed up pork 'n beans, I've never liked their baked beans, but Jim 'n Nicks has some good baked beans. And coconut cream pie......yum.

I've noticed the site is slow and boring. I don't know what has happened, nothing fun, nothing new. AND, I CAN'T EDIT, and what annoys me the most is when I click on a topic I've seen a hundred times, like the Baby Eagle Topic, it takes me to the first page. I have to click to get to the last page and then scroll down to find out where I left off. When I click on any topic I've already read, it takes me to the top. I have to scroll down and search for where I left off. It has become too much trouble. Maybe that's it. Ok, so today I can edit.

I would be more excited about going to California and seeing the Pacific Ocean. If I ever get to my bucket list, Vegas is on there as a pass through, but I want to come down from Washington through Oregon onto the Pacific Coast Highway, Highway 1. Have a great time, you deserve it!!!!

My grandaddy always called his wallet his "pocketbook". When we would go to town he would tell my granny to get his pocketbook out of the chifferobe. You know, I was wondering the other day why I hear of so many children with autism and I was wondering why. What is causing such a spike in autistic children? I really don't know, I know for years vaccines have been blamed, but I don't think that's necessarily all that's causing it. Is it something in our food? our enviornment? Are is it just more awareness, as this article suggest? It doesn't matter whether you were born here or not. It has nothing to do with the airport. I could be wrong, but I think most crimes are directly related to drug use and the purchase of drugs. Drugs are ruining families and communities and whole cities. JMHO

I noticed it yesterday on my lapto and my phone. Glad it didn't last long.

We used to get the catfish basket (whole) at Route 61, but it's been a long time. They close down, open up, close down, open up. Now there's new management and they can't get along, had breakfast and lunch posted, took that sign down, and now it's dinner, but with so much confusion, I don't care to try it.

I honestly don't think there is one around here. I hope someone will post with a place that has really good catfish. I would love some without having to drive to Gadsden to Top O' The River (They have on off I-20 at Anniston, about an hour from here, but I've never eaten at that one.)

I'm thinking we need to change this birds name from fuzz butt to ugly butt............that's one ugly baby bird. Bless his heart. LOL
