Everyone of those dogs was so happy to see someone that cared about them and talked to them and petted them. They said they wouldn't t be able to remove them until today but there were people staying with them last night to protect them.

We quit going to the Hiram Longhorns a long time ago. Sub-par service for an overpriced not always good meal. I can't stand the manager there. Years ago they had a great manager and great food. When they moved that one and brought in that skinny old guy everything went down.

Well both of you. Harrallson County is another option. But if you're husband works on the south side at the airport and you want to move to the mountains what kind of a drive will he have unless he stays down here. Or unless he's close to retiring. I know it's not a drive I would want to make.

Why not move towards Villa Rica/Carrollton. There's plenty of land and easy access to I-20. And there's some pretty land in Carrol County. Everything in this county is going up, including the water.

I'm born and bred Southern. I love my heritage. I love remembering summertime at my grandparents and family reunions. The best I can tell my great grandfather was a sharecropper out of North Carolina. He came to Alabama and bought around 300 acres of land. He donated acreage for the first church in our area and for the first school that my mother and her brother and cousins and neighbors went to. We have a State of Alabama Historic sign on the roadside next to his property. The property has since been divided and given to his kids, their kids, me and my cousins and now our kids.
