  1. But this doesn't fit the agenda of the liberals. I was reading today 2/3 of deaths are from suicide.
  2. Different types come in at different times. But they are locally grown. I remember apples coming in as early as June and different ones come in until late October/November.
  3. Nothing. Someone just wants to be offended.
  4. I'm the same way. I just can't deal with the crowds, long lines and traffic. We thought about going up this weekend but it's supposed to be raining and the crowds will be bad, just not AS bad as later.
  5. https://www.naturalnews.com/2017-10-02-lone-gunman-theory-of-las-vegas-shooter-is-complete-nonsense-stephen-paddock.html What we know for sure is that, yes, 59 people were killed (so far) and hundreds were wounded. This wasn’t a “hoax” shooting — people actually were shot, wounded and killed (and our prayers go out to all their families for this horrific tragedy). Yet the official narrative that claims Stephen Paddock — a retired, 64-year-old accountant with absolutely no firearms training, no gun experience and no physical stamina — was somehow able to expertly wield a highly complex (
  6. I like a good conspiracy. He didn't do this by himself. Not sure who backed him but I have my own ideas. I'm not even sure he pulled the trigger. He was an easy target to use. And easy to kill.
  7. It's usually the 3rd and last week in October. A frost will bring it on. When a million people are there. I quit going at peak season years ago. I just don't feel like dealing with all of that traffic. We were talking about going to Ellijay this coming weekend and even then the apple houses are going to be packed.
  8. I love it! I rewatched this today. A lot to admire about this rebel. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=rJj6GwfCWu8
  9. We all went to see him around 2004 at Lakewood. Jackson Brown opened for him. We had a blast. Thanks for the songs and the memories. RIP Tom Petty
  10. That's funny right there. LOL
  11. Racism is alive and thriving in our country. I hate it, but it is. It's the worst I've seen in decades. And Laurie is right. It's the denial on white folks part that is so damaging. And don't tell me you got black friends and you eat with black folks and all that blah blah blah black stuff. I'm white and I've been around black folks all my life. Friends and family. But I don't dare to assume I know what they feel because I don't and I never will. It truly saddens me because I do have friends and family that are black and I understand where they're coming from, but I don
  12. I wouldn't buy anything from an ad on FB. Let Zukerburg know he's promoting scams.
  13. Well, since he's given the money and he doesn't have a job anymore, he can put some skin in it. You know, like actually working with the people that need help. Reformation, education, actually being there to build and help. But maybe that's asking too much. It's easy to give away a million when you have millions$$$ and you need the tax write off.
  14. Then my issue is, if they want something changed why don't they put their own skin into changing it? They have millions$$$ of dollars. They can put it back into their neighborhood and bring awareness to what needs to be changed. But then that's not a very fun thing to do. And I do have a problem with disrespecting the flag or the anthem. You don't want to participate, fine, but don't spend you days and nights bringing unwanted attention upon yoursef. People really should learn what it means when it says "the flag was still there". People died to make sure that flag stood up

  16. Saw this posted on FB Ret. Marine Col. Jeffery Powers wrote the following to the NFL commissioners: Commissioners, I’ve been a season pass holder at Yankee Stadium, Yale Bowl and the Giants Stadium. I missed the ’90-’91 season because I was with a battalion of Marines in Desert Storm. 14 of my wonderful Marines returned home with the American Flag draped across their lifeless bodies. My last conversation with one of them, Sgt. Garrett Mongrella, was about how our Giants were going to the Super Bowl. He never got to see it. Many friends, Marines, and Special Forces Soldiers who worked

    Fake news

Fake news has been around for a long, long time. It just travels faster now. And now, as opposed to in the past, we have the means to search for the truth. http://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2016/12/fake-news-history-long-violent-214535
  18. I took my kids to Toys R Us and they loved it. Especially at Chrismas. It was like live catalogue shopping. And it was the go-to place for hard to find items and the hottest thing for Christmas. But it probably has outlived it's shelf life. It's more expensive than Walmart and what Walmart doesn't have I can get it at Amazon, cheaper and free shipping. But it was a great place to take the kids and grandkids. We still take the little ones right before Christmas.
  19. I've never had a flu shot and never will. They're a waste of time and money and they never cover the strain going around. I don't think they're viable and the illness you feel after getting one is not the flu. It's the heavy metals that have compromised your immune system. My dad got Guillian Barre from a flu shot.
  20. The same bull shiit coming out of the CDC. There's no need for a pregnant woman to get the flu shot or the Dtap. It's not the flu ingredients, it's the heavy metals in the vaccines that cause damage. As usual, it's Big Pharma pushing along with the CDC pushing vaccines on pregnant women. It's a relatively new thing. My daughter or DIL never had it and I would have told them to refuse. None of their babies had the Hep B vaccines in the hospital or the Vitamin K shot. It's all about money. Period. No thought about vaccine injuries. And our lawmakers are getting paid from Big

    Irma

My place in Florida is great. No damage and I still have my palm tree. Streets are still flooded but the houses never did. Thank you God! .
